Colby Hill Inn
Originally the front parlor of the house, this large, first floor, corner guest room features a queen-sized brass bed with large windows facing East and South for lots of sunlight. Two velvet chairs face the original wood burning fireplace (of course we provide the firewood, kindling and matches!) making this a great spot for a glass of wine or a cozy nook in which to read. Oriental rugs, sheer draperies with bullion fringe, and an antique bureau add to the elegance of the room. This guest room is one of the most romantic, and requested, guest rooms in the inn.
Take a peek outside one of the windows for the best view of our majestic maple tree on the front lawn of the Main Inn. Small private bathroom with shower. Inn history tells us this room was a favorite of Geena Davis (New England College Alumni) who stayed here when she gave the commencement address at New England College in the nineties! This is an excellent family choice to combine this guest room with Room 24 across the hall for privacy for the entire second floor. Carriage House Suite 1
Our Carriage House Suites are perfect for romantic getaways in New Hampshire, particularly a honeymoon in New England. Enjoy our most romantic accommodations in our first-floor Carriage House guest suite. Carriage House Suite 1 features a romantic two-person whirlpool. Enjoy the whirlpool (we’ll even supply the 'rubber ducky'!) and the private bathroom with ceramic tile and rainwater shower. There is also a matelasse coverlet and luxurious down comforter on a Shaker reproduction queen-sized canopy bed, which overlooks the two-sided gas fireplace.
The gas fireplace provides instant ambiance at the flick of a switch and can be seen from both the in-room Whirlpool and the queen-sized bed. The seating area with love seat, reading lamp, flat screen TV/DVD and CD player provide additional amenities for your romantic stay in this guestroom. A small refrigerator is provided as well.
French doors open to a deck with lounge chairs that overlook the in-ground swimming pool and the hills and mountains beyond. You can access the pool directly from your deck and relax with an afternoon beverage overlooking the pool.
Our Carriage House Suites offer the ultimate in romance...perfect honeymoon or special occasion suite. The suites have a two-night minimum on all weekends, special occasions and holidays. All guestrooms include a hairdryer.
Carriage House Suite 2
The Carriage House Suites are our most romantic guestrooms, perfect for your romantic getaway in New England. These first-floor guest suites also are the newest accommodations at our New Hampshire bed and breakfast.
Suite 2 features an elegant mahogany four-poster queen-sized bed with luxurious linens. A matelasse coverlet and a lovely comforter with plush pillows provide for peaceful sleep! A romantic two-person corner whirlpool is perfect for relaxing tired muscles, we'll even provide the "rubber ducky"! These guest accommodations face West for lovely afternoon sun and beautiful sunsets.
There is also another window facing East for morning sun. A private bathroom with a large two-person dual rainwater shower. Two wing chairs in a seating area overlook the traditional gas fireplace (ambiance with the flick of a switch!) with dentil molding mantle. CD/DVD/TV and DVD library. A small refrigerator is also provided.
The French door opens onto a deck with patio lounge furniture overlooking the in-ground swimming pool, and the hills and mountains beyond. This is the perfect suite for a romantic New England vacation. The suites have a two-night minimum on all weekends, special events and holidays. All guestrooms include an in-room hairdryer.

Two-night minimum on summer, fall, and special event weekends. Three-night minimum on Columbus Day Weekend. We release 1 night availability the Monday prior to the weekend and welcome your one-night reservation at that time. Carriage House Suites I and II (Rooms 22 and 23) have a two-night minimum on the weekend (some holidays have a three-night minimum).
If you will arrive later than 10 pm, please contact us in advance to make arrival arrangements. If you require other arrangements, please notify us in advance.

Deposits & Cancellations
Reservations must be secured by a deposit equal to one night's stay. For stays longer than two nights, we require a deposit of one half the reservation total. This can be done by personal check or your credit card.
If you cancel a confirmed reservation 7 days prior to your arrival date, we will gladly refund your deposit less a $25 processing fee. Some special events or group bookings require a 14-day or 30-day cancellation policy, and the policy applies based on the cancellation noted in your confirmation letter.
If you cancel within the cancellation date (within 7, 14 or 30 days depending on your reservation), the deposit is forfeited.
