Chocorua by canoe or kayakPrice from: $40
Less than a mile from Riverbend Inn is one of New England’s most picturesque bodies of water, Lake Chocorua. No motorized boats are allowed on the lake or its adjoining cousin, Little Lake, so a kayak or canoe is the perfect way to experience the sounds and rhythms of nature. Picnic and swim at sandy beaches, explore flora and fauna (listen for the loons), or dangle your feet in the water and read a book in the sun. Another great option is to paddle down the Bearcamp River to Lake Ossipee. A leisurely four-hour journey takes you nearly eight miles along a very scenic waterway. Sit back, enjoy the peace and quiet and let the current carry you. Choose either option and treat yourself to a very special day!
Our package includes canoe or kayak rental plus pickup and delivery, from $40.
May to October.
