    A grand old home set in the center of scenic New Hampshire, The Henry Whipple House was constructed in 1904. The house is typical of the Victorian era which can be seen in the architecture, oak woodwork, hardwood floors, chandeliers and stained glass windows. The five main house chambers and three carriage house suites have been decorated and furnished in the Victorian style with many antiques and several bronze engraved fireplaces to add that special elegant touch.

    Available on a year-round basis, all of the bed chambers and suites have private bathrooms, which include Gilchrist and Soames English Spa amenities and luxurious 100% Egyptian cotton towels. In addition, all accommodations feature cable TV and air conditioning and some include VCRs and phone jacks for modem hook up. We can easily accommodate 10-14 people in the main house and an additional 16-20 in the carriage house.

    A gourmet breakfast is the house specialty using many locally grown organic produce and the highest quality meat products from Edwards of Surrey, Virginia. Specialties include breakfast bruchetta, eggs benedict, garden eggs, asparagus frittata, crispy bacon and gruyere omelets, potato cakes with warm apple sauce, apple pecan pancakes and tipsy orange French toast, to name but a few.

     

     

    Rates and Policies
    • Rates range from $115 to $190 per night. .
    • Breakfast is included for guests of the Main House only.
    • Most weekends and holidays require a two-night minimum stay.
    • All rates do not reflect the 9% New Hampshire Rooms and Meals Tax
    • A 50% deposit is required within 7 days after making your reservation.
    • If you cancel your reservation and provide 14 days notice, your deposit will be refunded less a $25 service charge.
    • If the reservation is canceled less than 14 days prior to the arrival date, the deposit is forfeited unless the room is re-rented.
    • Full, non-refundable deposits are required for certain peak periods.
    • Check-in: 3 p.m. - 6 p.m. or by special arrangement.
    • Check-out: 11 a.m.
    • No-smoking.
    • Well-mannered children are welcome.
    • No Pets.
