Once you've unwound, day or night, there's plenty to do. The Branched Oak and Pawnee State Recreation Areas are each about ten minutes away for those who might enjoy a picnic by the lake, fishing, boating, hiking, or biking.
Other nearby attractions include the Highlands Public Golf Course and Nine Mile Prairie. We're only eight minutes from everything in downtown Lincoln, including the Historic Haymarket, the University of Nebraska - Lincoln campus, and Memorial Stadium.
The Strategic Air Command Museum is just about 20 minutes east of I-80 at exit 426. It has a huge indoor display of military aircraft, featuring the SR-71 Blackbird - the worlds fastest jet plane. If you're a "wing-nut"...this is a MUST SEE!
