Situated on 40 acres, our handcrafted country-style log home offers a relaxed atmosphere surrounded enhanced by Fish Creek running through the property. An environmentally friendly inn, the wrap-around porch is a perfect place to relax while observing the abundant wildlife or to listen to the rippling of Fish Creek. Nestled in the Tobacco Root Mountains, our spectacular and exclusive mountain valley offer a dramatic backdrop for your perfect wedding or honeymoon celebration. Trails from the house are available for hiking, horseback riding, x-country skiing or wildlife viewing.
Start your day with a morning cup of our own special roast of fresh ground organic coffee brewing . If you're up early enough you can try to catch a glimpse of our resident wildlife - moose, deer, then enjoy a hearty breakfast using locally and organically grown produce in our on-site greenhouse. The love of Montana lifestyle,riding horses, and we're a good stopover since we're between Bozeman and Missoula.
What are you best known for? What makes your inn unique? What do you love most about your inn?
We are best known for our animals.. (horses, dogs,) and that I’m a city girl gone country.
If someone has never been to your city, what is the #1 reason to come visit?
Wide open spaces, quiet time to slow down and enjoy the natural beauty.
What’s the best compliment you have ever received about the inn?
Feel very peaceful here...love our hospitality and our love of nature and animals... and the fact that we’re off the beaten track and it's quiet.
What’s the best kept secret about the area?
Shhhhh .. We don't want TOO MANY people!

Locally, hiking, fishing; Butte has several festivals in the summer.

Do you accept pets?
Yes, and there's an additional fee.
Well behaved pets welcome. Our dogs Manker and Sam love to make new friends. We only ask three things of our K9 guests: Do not bark a lot when left alone in an unfamiliar room, do not sleep on the beds, and any room damages are covered by your owners. Should there be a problem, we will ask you to keep your dog away from the other dogs and with you -- either inside or on a leash. Please notify us of your intent to bring your pet at the time of your reservation. There is a $10 surcharge for pets for the length of the stay.
We are a horse friendly bed and breakfast for guests only. For the horse lover, we have a corral with two adjoining stalls. In summer, turnout to a small pasture is available, if desired. Because we are horse lovers ourselves, we welcome horses with their owners. Fish Creek House does not offer horses for riding, but we have accommodations for our equine friends.
