Guests of the inn have the best of both worlds. . . peace and quiet and lots of fun things to do. The inn is perfect for business travelers, vacationers, and those seeking a romantic getaway. We have a two person jacuzzi, warm inviting fireplace, and a gourmet breakfast in the morning. For your comfort, we do not allow smoking anywhere on our property.
In the morning you will awake to the aroma of freshly brewed coffee. A gourmet breakfast awaits you. The menu varies everyday but you can expect to leave the table content and ready for the day. The specialty of the inn is peach french toast. Other menu items are blueberry pancakes, baked eggs or breakfast burrito casserole just to name a few. Coffee and a variety of teas and juices complete the menu. Enjoy the company of other guests in the dining room enhanced by a 1,130 piece chandelier from Portugal. If you would like to "sleep in" you may request a breakfast basket of muffins and fruit to be placed outside your bedroom door. As soon as the weather cooperates, guests can enjoy breakfast on the outdoor patio surrounded by Lori's perennial gardens.The main parlor with a wood burning fireplace is home to family heirlooms. The desk, used by Dean's great grandfather at Yale is next to a primitive reading lamp from a Cape Cod summer house. A tilt top table displays composition dolls which were Lori's mother's. A sunroom, located just beyond the living room is also for your enjoyment. You can watch a little television, or rent a movie to watch on the VCR.
