We are currently featuring the Modified American Plan where dinner can be included in your room rate at our Hannibal restaurant! This is an additional $10 per person so this truly is a great deal. Of course your alcohol and gratuity are not included. Just reserve a table when you book your room.

All meals start with either a salad or appetizer. Dessert is also included along with your sodas, coffee, iced or hot tea. No need to get back into the car after checking in or shopping and touring all day. You may enjoy the patio or inside the restaurant. Either way, bon appetite.

Our restaurant is onsite at our Hannibal B&B and is something that generally Garth Woodside Mansion's lodging guests may only enjoy. Built with an orangerie and a conservatory in mind, the Woodside Restaurant allows our guests to enjoy the surrounding wildlife, rolling lawns, gardens, and outbuildings. "The vision of abundant wildlife your eyes absorb are surpassed by the tastes that will awaken your palate. From Salmon to wonderful pasta to grilled chicken salad, your senses will come alive." From the South
head north on Route 61. As you approach Hannibal, you will pass the Grand View Cemetery on the right and a John Deere Dealership. Just after you pass the John Deere Dealership, the first traffic light you come to will be the intersection of Warren-Barrett Drive and US 61. Turn toward your right on Warren Barrett Drive. Go 500 yards then take the first road to the right, New London Rd. (Heinz Electric is on the corner). Go down about 2/3 mile, and you will see the mansion on the right.

From the South taking the scenic route (longer drive)
head north on Route 79 into Hannibal. Turn right on Broadway, turn right on Main Street, and make a right on Warren-Barrett. Travel on Warren Barrett approximately 3.75 miles. This will take you to New London Road. (Heinz Electric is on the corner) Turn left on New London Rd. and drive 2/3 mile to the mansion on the right.

From the North
Traveling South on State Route 61 Towards Hannibal, you are going to go under I-72/State Route 36. Continuing South on 61, head about 3.5 miles down. Turn left on the first street PAST the Hannibal Inn, this is Warren-Barrett Drive (Red Devil Road on the right). Turn Left On Warren Barrett, and go 500 yards, then turn right on New London Rd. (Heinz Electric is on the corner). Drive about 2/3 mile, and you will see the Mansion on the right.

From the East
take I-72 across the Mississippi River to Route 61 (Second Exit). Head south (left turn) onto State Route 61. Head about 3.5 miles down. Turn left on the first street PAST the Hannibal Inn, this is Warren-Barrett Road (This road is called Red Devil Road on the right). Turn Left On Warren Barrett, and go 500 yards, then turn right on New London Rd. (Heinz Electric is on the corner). Drive about 2/3 mile, and you will see the Mansion on the right.

From the West
Traveling East on State Route 36 towards Hannibal, turn right on State Route 61. Head about 3.5 miles down. Turn left on the first street PAST the Hannibal Inn, this is Warren-Barrett Road (This road is called Red Devil Road on the right). Then laugh along with Tom Sawyer and catch a glimpse of America through the eyes of Huckleberry Finn at the Mark Twain Himself live show, performed throughout the year.

Then, take a self-guided tour through Hannibal's historic neighborhoods or ride the trolley, or train (or should we say "twain"?). You can even enjoy a narrated horse-drawn tour on the Mark Twain Clopper. In the historic district, you'll enjoy a wide range of shopping possibilities, including a full selection of Mark Twain books and souvenirs, along with lovely gifts, antiques, handmade goods, and restaurants.

Majestic Mississippi River
