It is a good thing we had Dale Larison as sheriff so he could take care of the devious devils infiltrating the town of Buzzard Bend. You can see his great cowboy stories on Monday nights. Check out this website cowboys http://www.gtthccc.com/.

Any Scottish Heritage? 2 Sep 2014, 11:32 amMy sister and I just returned from a 3 week self guided tour of Scotland. The Edinburgh Fringe Festival and Military Tattoo Show was Spectacular.
Traveling:We rented a car which I drove with the stick shift on the left and left side of road with single country lanes. Thank God we are alive.
The best bed and breakfast was Briarbank B&B at Lock Ness. We had a window seat where you could see where Nessie was spotted last. It was rainy and cold but May and Duncan fixed us up with Tea and napped after the rainy drive.
We were hungry and they fed us a traditional Scottish Dinner with hot Lentil and Carrot Soup then Beef and new potatoes, vegetables and Brandy Base Fruit Compote.
The Scottish breakfast consists of Bacon that tastes like mild country ham delicious, black pudding, beans, eggs and toast and coffee or tea. I had previous had a potato scone another place. Boy were we full. But not as full of it as Duncan. LOL. I loved his real and humorous character. He was a character out of the past and fighting for the new election to free Scotland from Great Britain (United Kingdom). The real problem apparently the election next month is before all the economics are worked out.
At Breakfast Duncan wore his kilt and had his sword (with whiskey flash in the handle by his side along with Scottish flag flying. He had us sign Nessie's picture and showed us pictures of his pet Highland Cattle that need their bangs cut Can't see their eyes for their shaggy bangs. They are very rugged and was glad to capture a photo of mom and calf.
We followed the perimeter of Scotland and crossed over the mountains up to North Highlands and also ferried to island of Mull and stayed a lovely Victorian bed and breakfast along the bay.
We traveled through mountains and found country castles and Palaces fit for a king. Actually our favorite was Glams where the queen of scots grew up and the enchanted gardens of Princess Margaret. The tearooms were inside almost every castle.
By train we had a relaxing trip to Bath England and toured the historical roman baths and new spa on roof top across the streets.
How about that at our B&B.
We took a train to London and took a 6hr walking tour. Saw a lot of landmarks and will share a photo album on Googleplus and Facebook so like us if you will and come see the great Scottish jewelry and ideas for my new renaissance theme for murder mysteries.
Today I have a filmmaker visiting which is very exciting. So Stay tuned to all our adventures.

Thanks to the Pedaler's Jamboree for including us in lodging choices.
We had a nice couple that kept their bikes safe in our picket fence until ready to ride.
Fresh Fruit and Oatmeal with Juice was a good start for our vegan. For no diet restrictions we had French vanilla lite yogurt with granola including pecans, almonds, pumpkin seeds and hearty grains & our fresh free range farm eggs and sausage.
Before leaving they fed our fish and chicks. She works at the St Louis Zoo and felt at home when feeding our farm animals and having Harley Duke our westie dog do tricks.
I had their schedule printed for them on arrival for which they appreciated.
