University Avenue Bed & Breakfast

We always serve a full and hot breakfast each morning to get our guests ready for their day. Our menu is customized around any culinary preferences our guests have because we would not want to serve anything that they wouldn't want to eat.

Our nightly rates always remain the same throughout the year. We never raise or lower rates based on the peak times of the year, but we do require a 2 night stay for some event weekends. Norman Rockwell Room

The Norman Rockwell Room is the largest of our four guest rooms. It is located on the Southeast corner and has a King bed which is convertible to two twins upon advanced request. There is a T.V., VCR/DVD player, alarm clock (with smart chip), desk & chair, telephone, iron & ironing board and a small love seat sofa in the room. This room has newer curtains and bed spread than shown in this photo. Max. Occupancy: 2 Guests. The Norman Rockwell bathroom has a single person jetted tub and a separate shower. There is also a hair dryer, shampoo, two cotton bathrobes and handmade soaps. $105.00 per night

The Balcony Room

The Balcony Room located in the Southwest corner has a Queen size bed, small private balcony off of the bedroom, T.V., VCR/DVD player, desk & chair, iron & ironing board, alarm clock (with smart chip) & telephone. Max. Occupancy: 2 Guests. The Balcony Room bathroom has a tub & shower combo, hair dryer, shampoo, two cotton bathrobes and handmade soaps. $95.00 per night

The Blue Room

The Blue room is located on the Northwest corner of the house. It has a beautiful wrought iron Queen bed. The bed room has lots of windows, 4 of which are new double pane (Feb. 2011) and there is a T.V. with VCR/DVD player, desk & chair, alarm clock (with smart chip), iron & ironing board, and a telephone. This room has a newer bedspread than shown in this photo. Max. Occupancy: 2 Guests. The Blue Room bathroom has a claw foot tub and a separate shower. It is the largest of the four bathrooms. This bathroom has a hair dryer, shampoo, two cotton bathrobes and handmade soaps. $95.00 per night.

The Green Room

The Green Room is located on the Northeast corner. It has a beautiful Queen bed and double pane windows installed October 2009. In the room there is a T.V., VCR/DVD player, desk & chair, dresser, alarm clock (with smart chip), iron & ironing board and a telephone. This room has newer curtains than showed in this photo. Max. Occupancy: 2 Guests. The Green Room bathroom has just a standing shower, hair dryer, shampoo, two cotton bathrobes and handmade soaps. $90.00 per night

Hello and welcome to our listing here on BBOnline.com! We are excited you are reading about our B&B and hope you include the University Avenue Bed & Breakfast in your travel plans to Columbia Missouri. Let us take a few moments to tell you a bit about us.

The B&B is a solid brick home that was built around 1921 in what is today known as the 'Historic East Campus Neighborhood' district. We have 4 guest rooms which are all located on the second floor and all rooms have private baths. 3 guest rooms have a queen size bed and 1 room has a king size bed.

All guest rooms have WiFi and we have a guest computer with laser printer in our common living room. The living room is a great place to watch T.V. via satellite, read a book or just relax and sip a cup of tea or coffee after a busy day. We want you to stay in touch with those who are important to you so long distance calls are free and for those who traveled from a far we have international calling cards at no charge.
