Dauphine Hotel Bed and Breakfast

This secluded room features a queen-size bed and a two-person ThermoMasseur® Tub, making it the perfect room for a romantic getaway or a weekend of pampering yourself. Scented oils and bathrobes are provided. It also features a small, private deck overlooking the kitchen garden. (for those wanting a shower there is a hand-held wand on the tub). Alex and Adelaide Verdot were owners of the hotel from 1890 until their deaths in the 1920's.

The town of Bonnots Mill was once an overnight stopping point for riverboats heading up the Missouri River from Saint Louis.

Lewis & Clark camped for several days at the mouth of the Osage River nearby.

The quilt, afghan and lampshade in this room were all hand-made by your host Sandra. the window overlooks the side yard and flower garden. Louise Verdot used this as her bedroom for many years.

This room is named in honor of the members of the Osage Nation who called this area home when the French settlers first arrived and for whom the Osage River is named.
