Come visit our Apples and Gingerbread Bed and Breakfast nestled among 24 acres of beautiful countryside. With 7,000 square feet of living space, our Bed and Breakfast has 4 wonderfully charming guest rooms. Each suite is decorated in a unique motif sure to please every traveler. You'll find that most of our rooms have an adjoining private bath or access to a private bath. Check-in time is 4 p.m. and check-out time is 11 a.m.




Breakfast is served from 7 to 10 a.m. in our beautifully decorated Apples and Gingerbread Master Kitchen. Enjoy a specially prepared homecooked country breakfast each morning before you head out to one of many nearby attractions. Or you can grab a quick cup of several flavors of coffee and one of our freshly baked apple and gingerbread muffins with homemade apple butter.

Although you may find it hard to leave our quiet surroundings, we are close to a host of fabulous attractions. We are 30 minutes from the Country Club Plaza: Kansas City's Premier Entertainment district. Well known for its fountains, the plaza hosts more than 150 shops and dozens of fine restaurants. Enjoy 915 acres of spectacular garden displays featuring native plantings and contemporary architecture at Powell Gardens only five miles away. Cheer on a favorite team at the Truman Sports Complex. Located just west on I-70, the Truman Sports complex is the home of the Kansas City Chiefs and the Kansas City Royals.Experience Historic Lexington, Missouri founded in 1822. Lexington Missouri sits high atop the bluffs overlooking the Missouri River. Shop Lexington's delightful stores and visit its historical museum. All this history is only minutes away. Independence, Missouri the beginning of the California, Santa Fe and Oregon trails, is only 20 minutes west on I-70. Independence is home of President Harry S. Truman. Visit the Truman library, Truman home, Vaile Mansion, Bingham Waggoner Estate and many others.
We are only 6 miles south of I-70 and 7 miles north of Missouri Highway 50. Either will take
you to downtown Kansas City, hosting the new Sprint Center and surrounding restaurants.
