Cherry Street Cottages
The Shlenker House, circa 1907, is listed on the National Register of Historic places. Sitting on an acre of informal gardens with more than two hundred plant species, this unique two-story house was built by a prominent member of Vicksburg's turn-of-the-century Jewish community, David Jacob Shlenker, a successful cotton factor and wholesale grocer.
