Covington Inn Bed & Breakfast

The Covington extends to all its guests the elegant comfort once reserved aboard historic work vessels for company executives and VIPs. The boat is trimmed stem to stern in mahogany, brass and bronze. Windows and portals in the boat's tiered design draw light into each room. Sleeping quarters feature a mix of ingenious built-in cabinets with simple furnishings from the Covington's work era. Salvaged fixtures, nautical antiques and historic art provide tasteful reminders of the River and the Inn's past life.

The Inn is one of America's few floating bed and breakfasts, buoyed and buffered as it is by the Mississippi River. Whether blanketed by snow or passed by summer's silent barges, its riverside setting soothes and captivates. Yet the Bed and Breakfast sits moored within the reflection of downtown St. Paul's towering skyline. The Capitol, museums, theater, fine dining and shopping wait just across the bridge. You can have an unique and special wedding ceremony at the Covington Inn

The Inn can be reserved to provide an exclusive and private event for your wedding day. You can hold the wedding on our one of our spacious outdoor decks or in our elegant Salon. The maximum capacity for a party or wedding is 50 people so your event will be very intimate. Liz Miller, your Innkeeper is an Officiant registered with Ramsey County and is available for this service for a fee of $100. Please contact us for details.
