    Round Barn Farm Bed & Breakfast - Red Wing, MinnesotaCome to the country where old-fashioned American and European ambience meet in a 3-story bracketed country manor farm home. Visible from Highway 61, just four miles from downtown Red Wing, the 1914 Dammon Round Barn beckons you off the busy byways to enjoy 35 acres of fields, woodlands, and bluffs.

    Built on a design from 1861 by architect Samuel Sloan, the residence is a delight with the use of reclaimed timbers and country antique furnishings to deliver the atmosphere, comforts, and charms of days gone by.

    Listed on the National Register of Historic Buildings, the round barn is truly a fascinating and beautiful example of architecture. Built in 1914 by Henry and Mary Dammon to accommodate dairy cattle, and subsequently used as a honey-processing facility by Earl and Retha Griffith, the barn has been renovated as a special place for weddings, receptions, dances, parties, and reunions.
    Dining RoomThe Round Barn Farm Bed & Breakfast features five guest suites decorated in sophisticated old-fashioned country style. All are designed for double occupancy and include king or queen size feather beds, gas stoves or fireplaces, and a 2-person massage tub or Jacuzzi. Wonderful views of the Round Barn Farm and Flower Valley are framed by every window.

    A stunning carved Bavarian tavern sideboard and a massive limestone fireplace complete with crane are the dual focal points of the dining room. Enjoy a three-course breakfast including Robin’s award-winning homemade hearth breads still warm from the oven.

IMAGINE saying your "I do's" under a beautifully decorated arched trellis with a view behind it stretching for a mile across the country landscape to the Mississippi River Bluffs! Or IMAGINE walking down an "aisle" of rose petals across a lawn toward a picture-perfect gazebo with all eyes on you!

    IMAGINE the reception with your stunning table settings, music, buffet wedding feast, twinkling lights and gorgeous decorations, all taking place beneath the 60 foot high soaring cathedral-like roof of our historic round barn! Make it a REALITY by reserving the Round Barn Farm B&B&B for your wedding event! The round barn is truly a beautiful historic building. Built in 1914, the foundation is Mississippi River valley limestone. It is 60 feet in diameter and 60 feet high and has two levels. It is available June through September and accommodates 150 people comfortably.

    The house is a delight! Based on an architect's plan of a bracketed country manor home first published in 1861, it is new! People can't believe it isn't a century old! We have 35 acres of meadows, woodlands, and bluffs. Our landscaping won the 2005 Minnesota Nursery Landscape Association Design Award. It is a lovely location for your event!     EVENT RATES AND ACCOMMODATIONS:

    Wedding events are a weekend package at the Round Barn Farm. We require anyone reserving the barn for a large event to also reserve the entire bed and breakfast for the nights preceding and following their event. What an honor it will be for the family and friends you choose to stay in our luxurious suites! We have 5 double-occupancy suites. Reserving the entire B&B for two nights is $2030+tax. There is a flat $400 charge to hold an event at the Round Barn Farm. The barn is an additional $950.

    Our living room can accommodate up to 20 people for a smaller intimate wedding. These can be held any time of year. As with larger events, we require that the entire B&B be reserved for the nights before and following your event. There is a $250 event fee. We provide you with information to assist in arranging your caterer, table and chair rentals, decorating, florist, etc - all the folks needed to customize your event especially for YOU!
