Historic Calumet Inn

In 1979 the hotel was purchased for $60,000 by Greg and Michael Hasara and a $3 million renovation/restoration began. The building was returned as much as possible to the looks of its original construction, but with modern conveniences added, and reopened Feb. 7, 1981. The current owners took over the property in Sept. 1993, and they want to keep the quality and traditions going. In addition to the current 38 guest grooms (many furnished with antiques) and the elegant dining room, the Inn now includes a lounge, Eddie?s Pub, Pocahontas meeting room, and a gift shop area. The lounge occupies what once was the bank, with the vault as the wine room.
