The Country Hermitage Bed and Breakfast, in the Traverse City area, continues a 130 year-old agricultural tradition, on a 400-acre working cherry farm overlooking East Grand Traverse Bay. This Victorian style farmhouse was built in 1883 by the John Pulcipher Family. Restoration began in early 1999; every detail of the farmhouse has been lovingly restored from original wood paneling to the ten foot pocket doors.

We are located in cherry country just a short ten minute drive north of Traverse City. Take U.S 31 North from the M-72 intersection in Acme 1/2 miles.

A skillfully prepared full-service breakfast is served from 8 to 10 am each morning. Enjoy your breakfast in our sun filled breakfast nook, our quaint cafe style plaza or our formal dining room. We can happily accommodate any special dietary needs such as the Atkins Diet, Gluten Free Diet & Vegetarian Diet. Please advise the Innkeeper in advance to ensure you have a delicious breakfast perfectly prepared for you.

The Country Hermitage Bed & Breakfast is not only a first-rate B&B in a splendid country setting but also a fantastic venue for events of all types. Weddings, Receptions, Rehearsal Dinners, Corporate parties, or Family Reunions; the Country Hermitage is pleased to extend an invitation.
