Tea RoomAntiquities' Wellington Inn is a 1905 neo-classical mansion located in the historic heart of Traverse City. This spectacular home has been fully restored to its original grandeur and features period antiques throughout the nine guest rooms, dining room, library and living room. Two 2-bedroom Carriage House apartments are offered for extended stays.
Guests are treated to a sumptuous full breakfast in the turn-of-the-century dining room. Refreshments and snacks are always available in the guest kitchen located off the 3rd floor ballroom.
This unique in-town neighborhood location is just 2 blocks from fine restaurants, shops, recreational trails and spectacular beaches. Gracious innkeepers will gladly help you with any arrangements required to ensure a memorable stay.

Overnight accommodations are required for rehearsal dinners, weddings and receptions. A discounted rate applies when booking the entire facility. The first floor Dining Room seats 32 for a formal dinner reception, bridal shower tea or rehearsal dinner. The third floor Ballroom seats 60 for a formal dinner reception.

Guests enjoy an assortment of traditional teas accompanied by beautifully presented split scones with crème fraiche and homemade jam, finger sandwiches, tea cakes, tarts and shortbreads.
Private teas are a wonderful way to celebrate a special occasion or to recognize valued clients and employees. The Wellington Inn has proven to be a popular choice for bridal teas, birthday parties and meetings of local business groups and organizations.
Private luncheon teas can be scheduled for a minimum of 20 guests.
