    Credar Creek Bed & Breakfast is an original Greilick family home. Built in 1892, it was located on the corner of M-22 and Cherrybend Road for over 100 years in a small community called Greilickville. In the Spring of 1990, we had the house moved to its new location in the hills of the old TimberLee Ski Resort. A picture album is available if you would like to see the preparation, relocation and new creation process.

    Dining RoomWe have two guest rooms with private baths, and numerous indoor/outdoor common areas for guests to enjoy. Our setting features flowering shrubs,trees, perennials, a water garden and rustic, wooded countryside views. Two backyard decks provide viewing and a comfortable front porch offers a cozy conversation area and a view of the perennial border and Leelanau county.

    Our sitting room is furnished with antiques and comfortable, cushy modern seating, a glass-front wood stove, TV, books and magazines.

    A full breakfast or large continental is served each morning in the dining room. Meals always feature lots of fresh fruit, gourmet coffee, herbal teas, homemade coffee cake and scones, breads and bagels, yogurt, juices and other tasty surprises.

      Leelanau County offers the best in scenic touring, panoramic views and quaint villages.

    Local farms offer shops with fresh produce, bakery goods and herbal products. There are wineries located throughout the county featuring tasting rooms, scenic verandas and charming garden patios.

    Shopping, dining and nightlife are within minutes plus a variety of other recreational pursuits including boating, fishing, swimming, picnicking, golf, horseback riding, skiing and more.

     

    For Your Enjoyment... Mi casa, su casa The back decks and front porch, benches and other secret paths and hidden spots are available to enjoy the gardens, being outdoors and private conversations.

    • Please feel free to use the living room to watch TV, read, talk and enjoy the fire (we'll try to keep one going at all times in the winter, but if one needs to be built, just ask)... books, magazines and games are there for you to use.
    • Ice and cold water are available from fridge."... help yourselves. "Real" glasses are in the cupboard to the left of the kitchen sink. You may use whatever you like. Wine, beer, and mixed drinks are allowed and you may store your supplies and leftovers in the refrigerator. Just find a space.

    Cedar Creek Bed & Breakfast - 7671 East Timberwoods Drive - Traverse City, Michigan

     

    • Take M-22 to Cherrybend Road (County Road 633).
    • Turn Left and go 4.3 miles to Mann Road (Cherrybend Road will turn into Fouch Road, County Road 614).
    • Turn Left onto Mann Road.
    • Take the first Right (Old Orchard Drive - Old Orchard will turn into Blue Ridge). Go to the top of the hill.
    • Turn Left at the tennis courts and follow the ridge. You will pass a road on the Left that goes down the hill. DO NOT TURN...Go Straight.
    • Cedar Creek B & B is on the Right, 765I East Timberwoods Drive. There is a sign before the drive.

    • If you have GPS, it may take you down M-72 toward Empire.
      You'll turn right on Co. Rd 641 at the Windmill.
      Follow 641 to 614, turn left and pick up on the map or let GPS take you the rest of the way.
