Enjoy your breakfast fireside or pool side in the Morning Room, and during the season, outdoors on the deck overlooking the Waterfall Garden. Complimentary salty snacks and beverages are available throughout the day. Relax in the peace and quiet of our Lakeside Lounge while light appetizers are presented in the evenings.

After a long day of shopping or gallery browsing in the twin villages, antiquing in the nearby countryside, walking the shores of Lake Michigan, or biking the back roads of Douglas, the Inn's Spa and Pool invite you to relax in style and comfort. Flora and fauna transform the Spa into a tropical oasis--a place to soak away the aches of the day and the stress of everyday life--all in a custom designed whirlpool and dry sauna. During the season the Inn's heated outdoor pool provides a cooling respite from the summer heat. Towels are provided for your convenience and massages by one of the area's fine masseuses can be arranged. The Inn also provides beach chairs, as well as complimentary bicycles during the season.

FROM CHICAGO:   

If you use the Skyway (Indiana Toll Road), exit at the Lake Station Exit. Stay to the left in the direction of Detroit after you go through the tollbooth.

Take 90/94 East to Detroit to Exit 34 (I-196 Holland Grand Rapids.) just to the north of Benton Harbor. Take I-196 North to Exit 36 (Douglas/Saugatuck.) Turn right onto Blue Star Highway (A-2). Take Blue Star to Center Street at the full traffic light and turn left. Take Center Street to Lakeshore Drive. Turn right onto Lakeshore Drive.

FROM DETROIT:   

Northern Route: Take I-96 West to M-6 (six miles past the Lowell Exit). Take M-6 to I-196 West to Holland. Take I-196 to Exit 41 (Saugatuck/Douglas). Turn right onto Blue Star Highway (A-2). Take Blue Star to Center Street at the full traffic light. Turn right. Stay on Center Street to Lakeshore Drive. Turn right onto Lakeshore Drive. 

Southern Route: Take I-94 West to US 131 North in Kalamazoo, Take US 131 North to M-89. Turn right onto M-89 West to Allegan/Otsego. Continue on M-89 for six miles past Fennville to the blinking light at the Blue Star Highway (A-2). Turn right onto Blue Star, take Blue Star to Center Street at the full traffic light. Turn left. Stay on Center Street to Lakeshore Drive. Turn right onto Lakeshore Drive.

FROM TOLEDO/OHIO:   

Take US 23 North towards I-94. Take I-94 West to US 131 North in Kalamazoo, Take US 131 North to M-89. Turn right on M-89 West to Allegan/Otsego. Continue on M-89 for six miles past Fennville to the blinking light at the Blue Star Highway (A-2). Turn right onto Blue Star, take Blue Star to Center Street at the full traffic light. Turn left. Stay on Center Street to Lakeshore Drive. Turn right onto Lakeshore Drive. 

FROM INDIANAPOLIS:   

Take US 31 North to St. Joe/Benton Harbor. US 31 continues on I-94 East for about 2 miles to I-196 North (Holland/Grand Rapids.) Take I-196/US 31 North to Exit 36 (Douglas/Saugatuck.) Turn right onto Blue Star Highway (A-2). Take Blue Star to Center Street at the full traffic light and turn left. Stay on Center Street to Lakeshore Drive. Turn right onto Lakeshore Drive.
