932 Penniman -a bed and breakfast- is a lovingly restored 1903 historical home which combines the elements of Queen Anne Victorian, Arts and Crafts and Neo-Gothic architectural styles. You will enjoy the sweeping oak staircase, hidden pocket doors, seven bay windows and original oak woodwork.
932 Penniman -a bed and breakfast- is conveniently located to downtown Detroit, Metro Airport and Ann Arbor hospitals and universities.
932 Penniman stands at the gateway to fashionable tree-lined Penniman Avenue in a neighborhood of elegant classic homes. One short block away, the charming historic city of Plymouth offers fine specialty shops, restaurants, galleries, picturesque Kellogg Park Square with a beautiful fountain, and even a neighborhood movie theater which still serves real butter on the popcorn.
Plymouth is also home to numerous festivals and gatherings such as January's International Ice Sculpture Spectacular and July's Art in the Park. Browse the streets and shops while enjoying the small town charm and hospitality which is Plymouth.
At 932 Penniman, you can linger by the fireplace in the reception hall, enjoy a snack in the Victorian parlor, browse in the well-stocked library/music room or lounge on the glassed-in wraparound front porch. Each common room is a comfortable spot for reading, playing games, listening to music or catnapping.Upon entering 932 Penniman, the first thing you notice is the 48" Howard-Miller timepiece
that adorns the kitchen wall. This is where your favorite breakfasts will be prepared by your host Jon, a certified chef. Our three large, comfortable guest rooms (Linnea's Garden, Rose Haven and Magnolia Maise) offer for your comfort and enjoyment queen-sized beds, private baths, cotton robes and TV/VCR. Stepping off the back deck, you'll enter the beautiful garden areas that Carey has designed and maintained. The restful hickory twig chairs, tucked into the curved wall of the small garage, overlook the private table setting where guests can enjoy a quiet breakfast weather permitting.

This wraparound porch is Carey's pride and joy. It is what first enticed her to explore this property. From spring to late fall our guests enjoy their breakfast under the soft, white clouds painted on the Victorian blue ceiling.
