Awaken to the smell of delicious pasteries, omelets, fresh fruit and other gourmet breakfast delecacies. A large outdoor fireplace beckons you to evenings around its crackling fire.

    If you elect to leave the grounds, a short walk away are views of azure waters and majestic sailboats at Northport's marina, panoramic hilltop views of Grand Traverse Bay from Braman Hill, invigorating natural hiking paths, mesmerizing art galleries, characteristically-unique shops & dining establishments - all for you to enjoy.     Beautiful Guest RoomsBuilt in 1868, this country Victorian was home to Dr.and Mrs. Stephen Hutchinson. He was the first physician to live and practice in Northport. A very kind man, he extended necessary medical attention to all in need, including curing the local indian tribe of a smallpox epidemic. His caring nature extended to the land where he grew the beautiful Copper Beech trees still vibrant today as well as many other plantings not indigenous to the area. Days Gone By is open May through October by reservation. For the comfort of friends and you, our visiting family, Days Gone By has a NO PETS policy and is a SMOKE-FREE establishment. Wi-Fi Available.

    Northport's location on beautiful Grand Traverse Bay with its marina, G. Marsten Dame Marina, is a very short walk away. Delightful free concerts performed Friday evenings during the summer under the park's gazebo are reminiscent of earlier times. Northport affords unique shopping experiences as well as several art galleries and dining establishments. Grand Traverse Lighthouse in Leelanau State Park, Peterson Park heralded for its beautiful sunsets, and the Leelanau Sands Casino, plus world-class wineries, cherry and apple orchards, and challenging professional level golf courses are a short drive away.
