Inn the Garden Bed and Breakfast
-

When travelers in the 1800's returned from Italy, they brought home an affection for the country villas filled with sunlight and fresh air, aromatic food and flowers. The historic Nims/Wilcox house in the Village of Lexington is such a home -- reminiscent of the Italian country villas which inspired its architectural style.
Built by business man and State Senator, Willian Reuben Nims, and later occupied by Dr. George Wilcox, this stately home holds a special place in the history and memories of our village. As stewards of this legacy, we welcome you to Inn the Garden Bed and Breakfast. We serve a full breakfast, and our guest rooms feature queen beds, antiques, ceiling fans, A/C, fireplaces and private baths.
Inn the Garden B&B is a short walk to village shops and Lexington Harbor on Lake Huron. A 36-hole golf course is 3/4 mile west. Also available -- vineyard and winery, sailing, charter fishing and boating, a paved bike path, annual art fairs, antique shops, summer concerts in the park, tennis, bird watching, windsurfing, charter diving, a barn theater, apple and berry picking, Christmas tree cutting, and just plain relaxing under the century old maple trees.
We are pleased to offer beautiful venues for your special events, gift certificates, and special services for business travelers.
