Gorton House Bed & Breakfast
Table Of Contents
The Gorton House Bed and Breakfast is located in splendorous Northern Michigan!
Our Cape Cod style Inn is nestled amongst the tall pines. Originally built in 1962, and restored and remodeled in 1995, Tom and Lois Gorton, the Innkeepers, have created wonderful accommodations for you, the guest.
From our Wood Side rooms view wild turkeys, graceful deer, elegant Red Fox, and fun loving black squirrels. Or, from our Lake Side rooms, watch from your king size bed as the sun rises over the calling Loons, and the splashing Bass, or the lake cruising beaver. At breakfast on the porch, catch a glimpse of a soaring eagle. View the Moon and Stars from our gazebo. Or you can read a bit by a crackling fire.
The Gorton House is ideal for family reunions, wedding parties, small company meetings, and for a week long vacation at the lake with no work for you!
Well behaved dogs are allowed November 1st - April 31st in the Lakeshore room only. There will be an additional charge of $10.00 per day. Pet must be with Master at all times.
Hospitality, warmth, and coziness abound.
Don't forget the chocolate chip cookies!
