    Cottonwood Inn Bed and Breakfast of Holland, Michigan offers a little of everything to make your stay unforgettable. Within walking distance are the Sanctuary Woods where scenic walks along the hiking trails lead to the dune stairway and a breathtaking view of Lake Macatawa. Stay a while and take in the gorgeous sunsets.

    Also, walk on over to the Eldean shipyard and marina to check out boating and visit the Big Red Lighthouse. Borrow bicycles from the Inn and do some biking over to the sandy beaches on the Lake Michigan shoreline. Seven miles south of the Inn, Saugatuck offers great shopping and eateries. To really indulge yourself, be sure to visit the breweries, wineries, and gorge on fresh blueberries at the fantastic Farmer's Market.

    Don't miss out on authentic Dutch attractions such as wooden shoe making, delft, cheese making, and more at Dutch Village. Hope College is also nearby for those planning to make a visit to this distinguished Christian, liberal arts university.

    Some of the best attractions in Holland are seasonal such as the Tulip Time Festival, which features endless activities and attractions in the early spring.     Why do most travelers stay at your inn?

    We are close to Lake Michigan beaches, marina, bike trails, and dunes. Also only a 10 minute drive to either Saugatuck or Holland.

    What are you best known for? What makes your inn unique? What do you love most about your inn?

    We love the rustic, cozy feel of the Inn. We have many areas to relax and offer delicious homemade breakfasts.

    If someone has never been to your city, what is the #1 reason to come visit?

    Besides the Tulip Time festival in May, we would say our beautiful beaches, amazing downtown, and the best ever farmer's market.

    People tell us all the time that they love how peaceful it is.

    If a traveler is staying at your inn for 4 nights, what should he/she do in the area?

    Shop Downtown Holland or Saugatuck, take a Dune ride, Bike ride the many trails, a day at the beach, walk to the Lighthouse, eat at The Piper, go to a winery, farmer's market.
