Dornbos

Our most spacious room. This room is named for the builder of the home, H.J. Dornbos, who in the early 1900’s was a prominent local resident here in Grand Haven. It is our most spacious room and is also the only room located on the main floor. This room features a queen bed and private attached bath. A small sitting area includes two upholstered chairs as well as a hand painted armoire to store your belongings.

Mary's Room

Located on the second floor, this sunny room features a queen bed, gentleman’s dresser, wicker writing desk, upholstered chair and it is our only room with a large walk-in closet. Mary’s room has a private bath located directly across the hall. Once part of the home’s original bath, the bathroom features a claw footed tub with porcelain head shower.

Gertrude's Room

Although Gertrude’s room is the smallest of our five rooms, it has a cozy and intimate ambiance. Located on the second floor, it has a queen bed, upholstered chair, a small bookcase and writing desk. The floral upholstered headboard and matching drape panels give a classic feel. Gertrude’s attached private bath, with standing shower, is large and bright.

Sophia's Room

A second floor bedroom, this room features a queen bed, upholstered chair and writing desk. Sophia’s room has a charming pedestal sink within the room and an attached shared bath. This room works best as a suite with Bettina’s room when two couples or a family of four are traveling together. If available, Sophia’s room can be rented individually.

Bettina's Room

A second floor bedroom, Bettina’s room features a queen bed, upholstered chair, wicker writing desk and oak armoire to store your belongings. The use of oak and cherry furnishings as well as the room’s color scheme, provide a craftsman or mission-style feel. Bettina’s room has a charming pedestal sink within the room and an attached shared bath. This room works best as a suite with Sophia’s room when two couples or a family of four are traveling together. If available, Bettina’s room can be rented individually.
