    This fully restored 6,500 sq.ft. mansion was built in 1941 on 200 feet of private Lake Michigan beach frontage. This classic estate exudes charm, style, and ambiance too rich to describe.

    Lakeshore Bed and Breakfast is located just 180 minutes from Chicago/Detroit and 30 minutes from Grand Rapids. There are miles of bike trails and cross country skiing trails are numerous. One of two luge runs in the U.S. is located nearby. Opportunities abound for boating, golf, fishing, and much much more.

    The many decks and spacious lawn offer unparalleled panoramic views from the Grand Haven Pier to Holland.

    Enjoy a stroll through the Guest Suites with our unique collection of historical documents and memorabilia. Amenities include private baths, Jacuzzi bath tubs, in-room fireplaces, in room CD players, flat screen TV's, DVD library of movies, 24 hour beverage service and continental breakfast, and  wireless internet connection for your laptop computer.

    Why do most travelers stay at your inn?

    To be able to stay directly on our private Lake Michigan beach. We are located on 200 feet of pristine private Lake Michigan beach with a stunning panoramic view. There are extremely limited locations to stay directly on Lake Michigan.

    What are you best known for? What makes your inn unique? What do you love most about your inn?

    We are best known for our private beach, spacious lawn, majestic trees and my Presidential memorabilia collection. We love the sunsets over the lake...we make a point to stop and enjoy each one.

    If someone has never been to your city, what is the #1 reason to come visit?

    The Lake Michigan sandy beaches

    What’s the best compliment you have ever received about the inn?

    That our attention to detail makes it the 'Best kept secret in West Michigan'.

    What’s the best kept secret about the area?

    Grand Haven is the best area in Michigan to live in. People in the mid-west call Grand Haven the 'Gold Coast'.

    If a traveler is staying at your inn for 4 nights, what should he/she do in the area?

    Day on our beach, watching sunsets, our bald eagles, Grand Haven's Musical Fountain, President Ford's Museum, Meijer Gardens, farmers markets, antique stores and our over 100 miles of paved bike/walking trails.

    Is there anything within walking distance of your inn?

    Our miles of miles of private Lake Michigan beach to walk on and outside our gate you have access to the miles of bike/walking trails.
