The six guest rooms have all been furnished with antiques and each one has a special elegance... - The Clarkes' "Own" Room
Rate: $140 - Located on the first floor off the library. It was labeled "Own" parlor on the architects original plans. This elegant room has oak parquet floors, Oriental rugs and period wall covering in navy, rose and white. The room is comfortable furnished with a queen size, carved, lace covered canopy bed. A wing back chair, fainting couch, armoire and other antique pieces complete this only first floor bedroom.
- The Grandchildren's Room
Rate: $115 - A delightful upstairs room all in pink. This rooms features white iron and brass twin beds with floral comforters. We have placed big white Victorian wicker chairs in front of the windows for your comfort. Lots of antique children's portraits. Battenburg lace accessories and a wicker fernery provide a room to bring back memories of childhood.
- Miss Sophia's Suite
Rate: $165 - Found at the top of the stairs is a spacious two room suite which includes a private balcony filled with wicker furniture. A perfect spot to wile away a summer afternoon. In the sitting room, highlighted by a yellow tiled fireplace with oak mantle, you will find a period sofa and chairs covered in a velvet and a large table and chairs, perfect for a conference.
The bedroom has a queen size, antique carved walnut bed covered by an antique crocheted bedspread and embroidered pillow covers. A Martha Washington chair, antique chest and cushioned window seat combine to make a truly elegant room for a very special occasion. both rooms feature Victorian companion papers in yellows, oranges and greens.
- Ned's Room
Rate: $105 - A cozy room in red and gold highlighted by a paisley spread covering a queen size brass bed. A green leather wing back chair with ottoman, antique oak chifferobe and wildlife prints make this room a special place for lovers of nature and warmth.
- Charles' Room
Rate: $119 - The period Chinese wall coverings in yellow, green and mauve make this room truly a delight featuring a queen size sleigh bed framed by a wall canopy. This room also has a window seat cushioned for comfortable hours of reading or relaxing. A flame stitchery chair and antique marble top dresser perfect the luxury of this room.
- The Hired Girls' Suite
Rate: $125 - "Up the back stairs" you will find this snug, two room suite. The sitting room is done in black and white ticking stripes appointed with a red print sofa, pine wardrobe, wrought iron lamps and comfortable chairs.
The bedroom is done in red Cranston plaid wallcoverings, a matching comforter covers the white iron queen size bed, ticking print accessories, rocking chair, antique oak wash stand containing a unique red wash basin and pitcher. The original cucumber poplar floors are covered by braided rag rugs. This is a country lovers dream.
The Carriage House
A Gambrel roofed two story building located at the rear of the main house, carefully restored to keep the integrity of the fine building. Upstairs you will find two new rooms with air conditioning, jacuzzi, refrigerator, private balcony and private baths. You are welcome to enjoy the main rooms in the house or relax in the privacy of your room. Breakfast can be served to you continental style, or you may join the other guests in the dining room for a full country breakfast.- The Garden Room
Rate: $195 - Will transport you back to your grandmother's rose garden. From the roses on the wall, old shutters at the windows, trellises around the jacuzzi and ivy on the ceiling. This room has a queen size wood and pewter look bed with canopy drapes, yards of filmy white sheer material. A big wicker chair and ottoman will entice you to a day of leisure and relaxation.
- Stableman's Room
Rate: $195 - Done in a primitive look, with rough plastered walls, black trim and pegs holding straw hats, suspenders, horse collars and harnesses. For this room we have picked a black pencil post queen bed draped with muslin at the corners, black and white handcrafted coverlet from Ireland, and a wing back chair with a quilt like print. If you like primitive, you'll love this room.

- A deposit of one night's lodging is required to confirm your reservation.
- Deposit less $10.00 handling fee will be refunded if reservation is cancelled seven days prior to arrival.
- Visa, MasterCard, American Express and personal checks accepted.
- Rates are per night, double occupancy, including full breakfast.
- Additional person in room $20.00 per person, per night.
- 6% Michigan sales tax and 2% county tax will be added.

- We do not have facilities for pets or small children. Teenagers are welcome.
