With a view of the backyard gardens and the tiered Victorian fountain and gazebo, the Davis is truly a suite for the discerning traveler. Soaring 12' ceilings papered in a Victorian jeweled pattern, hardwood floors covered in antique Persian rugs, a 12' tall canopy bed with Victorian draperies, and whirlpool tub with a view of the Italian marble fireplace, give the suite a romantic feeling, perfect for that weekend getaway or honeymoon. This suite has been featured in several magazines, and even used as a movie set.

 Ascend the elegant staircase from the grand front foyer to the second-floor Chaddock Guestroom. A gracious corner guestroom with views from two sides, looking over our side gardens with our cast-iron fencing, and the historic neighborhood surrounding the Inn. Named for the owners of the house about the turn of the century, this is a gracious guestroom with private, attached bath. The Chaddock Guestroom is lit by a rare Bradley Hubbard cranberry chandelier from an Atlanta, Georgia mansion and features an 1890's beautifully carved oak, queen-size "tall" bed - the mattress is almost waist-high on most adults, with an ornately carved matching dresser and washstand! The guestroom includes accompanying bedside tables with Victorian parlor lamp, plus a comfortable chair with a reading lamp for relaxing with a good book. The bath features a large sunflower showerhead and solid brass fixtures, plus the original in-room antique corner sink with complimentary soaps and toiletries.

Ten-foot tall arched windows with the original wavy glass frame in the beautiful views of our back gardens from this breathtaking guestroom. Named for the owners of the house from 1987 - 1998, this is an elegant guestroom with a large, private, attached full bath. The Ashley Room features a beautifully carved walnut, queen-size Renaissance Revival bed and accompanying bedside table with period Victorian table lamp. The walls and ceiling are papered in intricate, Victorian-period patterns reproduced by Bradbury and Bradbury to remind you of times past. The soft glow of the lighting from a period chandelier showcase the mirror finish of the hardwood floors covered in soft Persian wool rugs, as well as the sitting area with its two comfortable parlor chairs. A marble-topped, walnut dresser helps create the feeling of escaping the pressures of the day without leaving today’s creature comforts behind. On cooler nights, cozy up to the romantic glow of the in-room fireplace.

The room includes flat-screen, cable LCD TV/DVD. The attached bath includes a full tub with shower and solid brass fixtures throughout, plus a spacious marble-top vanity with complimentary bath soaps and toiletries.

The bedroom suite includes accompanying bedside tables with period Victorian lighting, a breathtaking solid cedar-lined, French walnut armoire, fainting couch, plus a walnut cylinder-top desk and side chair for relaxing with a good book. The room includes TV, a DVD/CD player, cable TV, and WI-FI access for your laptop. The bath pampers you with a generous sunflower showerhead, solid brass fixtures, and in-room vanity converted from an antique Victorian walnut buffet.

For those traveling with families, this suite may be combined with the Ashley Room through private access in between to create a two-bedroom, two-bath suite.

Overlooking our Victorian gardens, the French Garden Suite features its own private entrance with expansive covered porch for relaxing on those inviting evenings. This romantic guest suite features a king-size, four-poster canopy bed, luxurious high-end linens, and a view of the fireplace right from the bed. The two-person whirlpool tub, with its underwater lighting and your choice of pre-programmed water massage jets, will melt those daily stresses away in no time. The oversized shower with multiple body sprays will have you and that special someone competing to get in first!

• Rates listed are for single or double occupancy. Two guests per room maximum, except as pre-arranged

• All bathrooms at our romantic Michigan bed and breakfast inn are private, attached baths.
• All bedrooms in the Inn are air conditioned.
• Free parking is available on-site.
• Sorry, no smoking inside the DeLano Inn. Smoking is permitted outdoors only.
• Guest pets allowed by pre-arrangement in the French Garden Suite only, with a $25 per night charge, per pet. Pets must not be left unaccompanied in the guestroom, and must be kenneled overnight. We do own a dog that occasionally visits the Inn; please let the Innkeeper know if you have allergies!
• Reservations should be made by telephone or e-mail as far in advance as possible.
• A prepaid deposit is required to hold your reservation, one night or 50% of the room charges, whichever is less.
• Deposit can be cash, check, or credit card.
• Accepted credit cards: Visa, Discover, MasterCard, and American Express.
• Cancellations require 8-day notice to obtain a refund. Any cancellation received after that date will receive a refund only if the reserved space can be re-booked. We do make every effort to re-book such cancellations. A $25.00 administrative fee is charged for any cancellation regardless of dates.
• Check-in time is 4-11 P.M. Eastern Time. If you need a check-in after 11PM, please prearrange this when reserving your room.
