The Sleigh Maker’s Room, the original master bedroom, is the Inn’s premier room. It is named to honor the original occupant, Forrest Forbes who owned a sleigh mfg. business in Westborough. The room is decorated in maroon and gold with a mahogany sleigh bed as its centerpiece. This fabulously oversized and overstuffed queen bed is so big that you will need a footstool to climb into it (don’t worry – we provide the footstool.) The room offers an en suite private bath with Jacuzzi tub for two with a separate walk in shower. There is a lovely antique Eastlake desk adorned with a stovepipe hat and hatbox, an elegant antique pipe, and a wooden horse. All rooms have TV, Wi-fi and AC.

Flooded with naturel light - Perfect for female business travelers

The Writer's room was named to honor a Westborough native and Pultizer Prize winning author, Esther Forbes. The full collection of novels written by Esther Forbes, some first editions, are on display.The room is bright and sunny, with a cream and tea green decor. Many period pieces are on display including a grape fingered ladies chair with original upholstery, a victorian secretary desk, and an elegant dark cherry queen size Queen Anne style bed. The room is adorned with Victorain Dolls and an antique Underwood Typewritter. Originally the sewing room, this large en suite bathroom features a vanity built into an antique dresser and full bath/shower. All rooms have TV, Wi-fi and AC.

The Editor’s Room honors those who have helped record the rich history of New England, specifically the Editor's of the Westborough Chronotype, the town’s original newspaper dating back to 1867. The room is decorated in a beige, green, and dark plum décor with Victorian red oak furniture, including a stunning queen bed, a triple dresser, a tall dresser, and a writing desk. The room is filled with antiques such as a vintage camera, a Royal typewriter with case, and framed pages from an authentic 1891 Boston newspaper. All rooms have TV, Wi-fi and AC.
