Cobble View Bed and Breakfast

Cobble View Bed and Breakfast, in the tiny village of Tyringham (pop. 363), offers respite that feels many miles off of the beaten path. The quiet, pastoral setting belies the short distance to nearby Stockbridge, Lee and exit 2 of the Mass Pike. In fact, the Cobble View is one of the few locations in Lee or Stockbridge with no noise from turnpike traffic.

Location

Tyringham is easily accessible, just 4 miles from the Town of Lee and Exit 2 of the Mass Pike. The short drive through the pastoral setting of the Tyringham Valley is remarkable. Both the Tyringham "Cobble" and Appalachian Trail are within a short walk of the inn. Most Berkshire attractions are within a short drive.

In the main house, the four spacious guest rooms are each equipped with private baths, air conditioning and a sitting area. Carefully chosen antiques, reproductions and patchwork quilts set the atmosphere. In addition to the four guest rooms, a studio apartment, complete with kitchen, is perfect for guests with children. The apartment includes a queen sized bed and a double futon. Behind the main house a barn/loft with an "elegant lodge" feeling can accommodate four people with a queen and two twin beds. A large living room and dining room area, as well as a private bath complete with a shower and separate soaking tub, make this the perfect peaceful, private retreat.
