Our Inn is small and perfect for an "intimate" wedding.
Your ceremony can be in our beautiful living room in front of the black marble fireplace between two matching French doors, or weather permitting, on the front lawn with the pillared facade of the Federal House as an impressive backdrop. A small reception is available to be held in the inn after (or before) the ceremony where drinks and appetizers can be served. The wedding party and guests can easily walk across the street to Perigee Restaurant where dinner (rehearsal or wedding) and a larger reception could be held.
We are able to host up to 21 guests in our 9 guest rooms. All of our rooms sleep two with the exception of the Skylight Suite which sleeps four [and has two baths] and the first floor Billiard Suite which also has a pull out couch suitable for one person. If the total Inn is rented for the wedding, we provide the romantic Hurlbut Suite free of charge for the wedding couple. Stays at the Federal House all include gourmet candle lit breakfast and wine and appetizers served each evening.
Additional Services (catering and additional event planning) are available through the Perigee Restaurant located just across the street or we can provide further referrals for tent rentals, wedding consultants and caterers. Additional rooms (13) are also available at two other B&B’s [Historic Merrell and Hoplands Guest House] in the immediate area (easy walk to our inn and the Perigee Restaurant). Please contact us at 1 800 243 1824 for more information and to check date availability.
