    The Captain West House

    Built in 1834 by sea captain Nathaniel West, the charming Captain West House blends the warmth and charm of yesterday with the comfort and convenience of today. Each guest room is individually decorated with antiques, period detail and many feature working fireplaces, kitchenettes, or whirlpool baths. Offering both smoking and non-smoking rooms, the Captain West House is also pet friendly (by prior arrangement). Tucked away in the original kitchens of the Captain West House is our cozy breakfast room. All rates include a continental breakfast that can also be enjoyed in the garden courtyard during warm weather.
    The Curwen House

    The lovely Curwen House (c.1854) is a completely smoke free environment offering eleven tastefully decorated guest rooms, each with a queen size bed and private bath. The three Honeymoon Suites feature canopy beds, oversize whirlpool baths and working fireplaces (November through April), a luxurious, comfortable escape for the modern day traveler!

    		 The Peabody House

    The spacious Peabody House (c.1874) is a smoke free Colonial-style building offering a range of accommodation options including thoughtfully equipped Family Suites and two luxurious Honeymoon Suites. Recently renovated to include a comfortable and inviting parlor, the Peabody House is ideal for families or small groups traveling together.

    The Salem Inn does not have elevators.

    Reservation Information

    • Deposits:
      • Two night minimum stay required for Saturday nights from April 17 through October 2.
      • A one night deposit is required for each reservation and must be received within one week of booking or reservation will be automatically cancelled without notice.
      • Deposits are credited to the last night of reservation, balance is due on arrival.
      • Deposits are not refunded for shortened stays.
      • Additional deposit may be required for holidays or special events, extended stays and group reservations.
    • Cancellations:
      • If reservations are cancelled more than seven days prior to arrival date, deposit will be returned less a $15 service charge per room.
      • Reservations cancelled within seven days of arrival date will result in loss of deposit.
