    • Payment for 4th of July, Carnival Week and Women’s Week

       

    • Payment Terms for 4th of July (1-4), Carnival Week (Aug. 14-19) and Women’s Week (Oct. 7-16) are as follows. For these popular events, we will require a non-refundable 50% deposit payment at the time of booking and we will further require that the balance be paid 30 days in advance of your stay.

       

    • Please Note: Shorter stays may become available. We often get 1, 2 and 3 night gaps between reservations. Please call to check availability.

       

    • Rates:
      Rates do not include 11.7% state room tax. Rates are subject to change.

      Rates quoted are for one or two people. There is an additional charge per additional person per night above our double occupancy rate. Only certain rooms can accommodate more than 2 guests.

       

    • Payment:
      VISA/MC/Amex credit cards accepted. No debit cards. Personal checks accepted for deposits only and must be received within one week of reservation, and with credit card for security. 100% deposit is required for one night bookings; 50% deposit is required for all other bookings of 2 or more nights. Balance is paid upon arrival or, 30 days in advance of stay for 4th of July (1-4), Carnival Week (Aug. 14-19) and Women’s Week (Oct. 7-16).

       

    • Cancellations:
      Reservation deposits are non-refundable. If the room is re-booked, a gift certificate for a future stay may be issued at the discretion of management. As a small inn, we require your commitment to your reservation. Reservations are accepted with the understanding that you will be financially responsible for the entire period reserved. Cancellations within 2 days of your reservation will require forfeiture of the deposit as well as the balance due for your stay, if we are unable to rebook your room. There are no exceptions.
    • Protecting Yourself Against the Unexpected:
      We cannot be responsible for illness, family emergencies, work conflicts, inclement weather, and any other uncontrollable situations that arise which result in cancellations. We highly recommend that you purchase trip cancellation insurance, available at a nominal cost from any travel agency, or online at insuremytrip.com or AccessAmerica.com. These companies are independent and not affiliated with The Fairbanks Inn. All cancellation fees are subject to state tax in Massachusetts.

       

      Damages:
      We ask our guests to be respectful of other guests, their property and of our property. We will hold guests responsible for the costs of any damages or losses incurred by the inn during their stay.

       

    • Check-In Time:
      3:00 pm – 6 pm. If you are arriving after 6 pm please call to advise us of your arrival time. If it is likely that you will not arrive until after 6 pm, we have a late check-in procedure which we will explain to you when you call or email. Check-Out Time: 11 am.

       

    • Complimentary Parking:
      We have arranged for free parking for all of our guests. The onsite parking spaces are available for one standard sized car per room on a first-come, first-served basis. Additional complimentary parking is provided in a parking lot around the corner.

       

    • Smoking:
      Smoking is only permitted outside the inn in our garden space and on our decks. For the health and safety of all, we do not allow smoking, or the use of open flames, inside our guest rooms and the inn. Any evidence of smoking or use of open flames in our guest rooms will result in a $250 cleaning charge.

       

    • Adults preferred:
      Our inn is considered a quiet, romantic getaway, not appropriate for young children. We welcome children 16 years of age or older.

       

    • Quiet Time:
      For the comfort of our guests, our common room closes for night hours.

       

    • Pets:
      We are sorry that we do not have accommodations for pets. However, we encourage you to take your pets with you and board them at KC's Animal Resort here in Provincetown. For more information, please contact KC's at (508) 487-7900 or visit their website at www.ptownpets.com . For guests traveling with a service animal, we require an advance reservation. Walk-in guests with a service animal will not be accommodated.

       

    • The Fairbanks Inn is privately owned and management reserves the right to refuse service to anyone. Management also reserves the right to demand that any guests causing a disturbance or damaging inn property leave the premises without benefit of a refund. Guests are responsible for any damages or losses.
