The Carriage House Room
Situated in the corner of The Captain's House, the beds in this first-floor room may be set up as two twins or a king. This room has a newly renovated bathroom with a luxurious European body-spray corner shower with limestone tile. The room is equipped with a mini fridge.An 1830s whaling captain’s house built in the New England Federal Style this building contains ten guest rooms and several common areas for the use of all guests. The building features a roof deck for sunbathing and extravagant views of the harbor and town; a second-floor deck overlooking the in-ground whirlpool; and one of the three guest lounges on the property. This area has a gas fireplace in the living room, which is furnished in early American antiques, Shaker style chairs and reproductions. A trestle table surrounded by Windsor chairs fills the other end of the large room where a painted hutch houses a salt glazed pottery collection, board games and books. Room 101 is a superior king- or twin-bedded room. Room 102, Room 104, Room 105, Room 106, Room 107, and Room 110 are all standard queen-bedded rooms accessed from the interior; Room 103 is also a standard queen-bedded room, but its entrance in the courtyard opens directly to the in-ground whirlpool. Room 108 is a superior queen-bedded room, and Room 109, a deluxe king-bedded room, both accessed from the interior. -
The Cottages Room
Access to this detached cottage is through a private entrance from the courtyard. The room features a large tiled shower with wall jets in the bathroom. The room features a mini fridge.Located on the interior of the property and situated in the courtyard near the pool and in-ground whirlpool, three cottage buildings house four deluxe rooms each with its own entrance. Having a private deck overlooking the pool, the king-bedded Room 115 is one of the most popular rooms on the property. Adjacent to it, with its secluded entrance and a small outdoor seating area, is the king-bedded Room 114. Near the Court Street entrance is the king-bedded Room 112 and closer to the whirlpool is the queen-bedded Room 111. Rooms 111 and Room 112 are our pet friendly rooms. -
The Poolside Cabana Suite Room
This is a two story suite with a deck overlooking the pool with table and two chairs. The first floor featuring a living room with a pull out couch, 42" lcd TV and a large full bathroom with whirlpool tub and lcd TV. The second floor features a king sized bed, franking gas fireplace, lcd TV and 360 degrees of the beautiful property. You will be located in the center of it all. The suite can sleep up to four people (price is based on double occupancy, $100 extra per person). The room also has a mini fridge. -
The Penthouse Suite
The new crown jewel of the Brass Key is the designer Penthouse Suite.Nothing was spared when designing and building this spectacular water view suite.The suite encompasses the entire third floor, the suite can sleep up to four people (price is based on double occupancy, $100 extra per person). It features unobstructed harbor views and a large private water view deck with barbecue, table with four chairs.The spacious interior boasts an open floor plan with a dining area, living room, full kitchen, and full bath for guests.The master bedroom has a king-size bed and Franklin gas fireplace.The master bath is open to the bedroom featuring a stand alone whirlpool tub, separate 2-person glass-enclosed shower and private toilet closet. -
The Gatehouse Room
On the second floor of the Gatehouse, this room has a gas fireplace, mini fridge, a separate sitting area, a large bathroom, and a shower with wall jets.The main entrance to the Brass Key and Gatehouse is located off Bradford Street. The original 1790s Cape Cod home underwent expansion in the 1960s, which changed its façade to a New England Country Federal style. A second major renovation project during the 1990s created its current configuration. The Gatehouse contains the Reception Desk and the Shipwreck Lounge on the first floor. A large fireplace dominates the lobby complete with comfortable lounge furniture and bar. The Gatehouse also houses three deluxe guestrooms on the second floor: Room 140, a king-bedded room; Room 141, a queen-bedded room; and Room 142, a king-bedded room that is the largest guestroom on the property. -
The Victorian Room
Located on the first floor of The Victorian, this room duplicates the floor plan of Room 137 and has a shower in the bathroom. Windows face out into the property and has a mini fridge.When President William Howard Taft dedicated the Pilgrim Monument in 1910, he stayed in this Carver Street house. Built in the 1840s by a banker, the building retains its original Second Empire Victorian exterior style, including an “Ace of Spades” band of cedar shakes along the mansard roof. The 1990s renovations restored the interior with period moldings, custom mahogany doors and reproductions of 1860s and 1880s lighting fixtures. Furnishings in the nine guestrooms are chestnut, walnut and burled maple American Victorian antiques, many of which have marble tops. Room 133 and Room 134 are superior king-bedded rooms situated in the original sun porch, and along with Room 135, open to decks that overlook the pool. On the second floor room Room 138 features an oversize deck with sweeping views of the courtyard. Room 139 is a deluxe king-bedded room with an exterior entrance. Room 130 and Room 136 are deluxe king-bedded rooms accessed from the interior. And Room 131, Room 132 and Room 137 are standard queen-bedded rooms also having access from the interior. -
The Queen Anne House Room
Located on the first floor of The Queen Anne, furnishings in this room are contemporary and architectural. The newly renovated bathroom has a luxurious European corner body-spray shower with limestone tile. The room is equipped with a mini fridge.In keeping with its hybrid architecture, this newest addition to The Brass Key compound has a chic contemporary flair. Surrounded on two sides by English gardens, the building houses the breakfast room and 24hr coffee station. Guests enjoy breakfast in the indoor dining area or al fresco under the expansive awning. This building features seven guest rooms and the Penthouse Suite. Room 150, Room 151, Room 153, and Room 154 are standard queen-bedded rooms, Room 154 overlooks the Harbor. Room 156 is a superior queen-bedded room and Room 155 is a superior king-bedded room. Room 152 is a deluxe king-bedded room, and Room 157 is a deluxe king-bedded room with windows on three sides. Room 158, the crown jewel of the property, is the penthouse suite featuring breathtaking harbor views. -
The Carriage House Room
Situated on the first floor of The Carriage House with a private entrance opening directly to the pool, this room is fully handicapped-accessible. The tiled shower is 3x6' and has controls at both ends and the room is equipped with a mini fridge.Built in the Shingle Style complete with ironwork railings and glass doors overlooking the pool. Furnishings in the six guest rooms are Cottage style—painted and stenciled woods and wicker—and the rooms feature original artwork. First-floor rooms have French doors that open directly to the pool. Access to second-floor rooms is from the interior, and French doors open to “Juliet” balconies overlooking the pool. Room 120 is a superior king-bedded room (can also be two twin xl beds) and is fully handicap-accessible. Room 125 on the second floor is also a superior king bedded room. Room 121, Room 122, Room 123 and Room 124 are all superior queen-bedded rooms. -

At all other times we require 7 days notice. As is common in resort locations, there are no refunds for shortened stays. A cancellation fee of $75.00 will be assessed for all cancellations. You are allowed to smoke outdoors and onbalconies.
