The Beach House Oceanfront Bed & Breakfast is a unique property in Plymouth, Massachusetts. Others claim it, but we're the only oceanfront B&B in Plymouth, MA, just 20 feet from the water's edge. Guests have called our Beach House "A dream of a place " and "A little bit of heaven." Perfect for romantic getaways, family vacations, and reunions on the waterfront. Enjoy the casual elegance of this charmingly decorated home, featuring panoramic views of Cape Cod Bay and the land beyond from the sundeck, screen porch, living and dining rooms, or kitchen.
Enjoy the private beach, beautiful guest rooms with comforters, quilts and eyelet linens. Flowers and sea shells abound. There are private en suite baths, and delicious full breakfasts served by the sea, alfresco in warm weather, or in the dining room of by the fire when it's chilly. All rooms access the seaside living-dining room, sundeck, and screen porch.

It's not a bridge too far — rather it's just far enough down the winding road to be off the beaten path, but convenient to the areas history, harbors, and highlights! Our secluded bed and breakfast provides the perfect romantic getaway and is convenient to local historic attractions. The Beach House Oceanfront is a great location from which to plan day-trips to other attractions in the area.
A Beach House Oceanfront Bed & Breakfast is situated in an amazing wildlife habitat, fronting onto Cape Cod Bay, with all its sea birds and a colony of harbor seals from October to May. On especially clear days, one can see the entire expanse of the Bay embraced by the arm of Cape Cod itself. In autumn and winter, harbor seals jockey for position on the rocks in the bay. You can hear them talking to each other from our sundeck. Watch the lobster men pull their pots in the morning during breakfast on the deck. Flanked by Center Hill and Black Pond, the area is rich with birdlife... Finches, Cardinals, Mockingbirds and Swans live alongside Terns, Great Blue Heron, Snowy Egrets, Loons, and Sandpipers. Guests have seen deer families as they slowly make their way down Black Pond Lane in the evening.
In the heart of Historic New England, Plymouth offers myriad opportunities for getting in touch with the past. Award-winning Plimoth Plantation, where incredibly well versed interpreters, in character, in costume and in century, share a wealth of knowledge of life in the 1622 Pilgrim village Watch them sow, harvest, thatch, make barrels, tend their animals, and drill their militia. Visit gardens of heirloom plants, see the Wampanoags build their homes, make their leather goods, and harvest their fields as they teach the Pilgrims skills that enabled them to survive the harsh winters.
Visit the Old Court House and Cole's and Burial Hills and do a rice paper rubbing of some of the country's oldest gravestones. Pilgrim Hall Museum has artifacts, literature and lore that will shed a bright light on the Pilgrim experience in the "New World." Historic homes like Harlow, Hedge House offers a walk back in time and a first-had view of Plymouth through the centuries.
Want to see the whales? Plymouth is the whale watching capital of the East Coast. Captain John Boats will take you to Stellwagon Bank to watch whales breech and the Dolphins swim alongside. They also take you harbor cruising and deep see fishing, while their first-rate naturalists tell you all about Plymouth's beautiful historic harbor. Lobster Tales will take you lobstering while telling tales of the sea that keep families coming back for more. If it's sea life you want, Plymouth's the place.
