    Our best room, this sizeable, elegantly decorated suite, consists of a private sitting room decorated with plants, original oil paintings from Europe, Belgian tapestries, an antique Clavier Desk, an oriental carpet, and a cozy sofa in front of a working fireplace. The bedroom contains a comfortable easy chair for your reading pleasure and a four poster Queen-size Rice bed, With eleven windows facing the back gardens and woods, sleeping in this room makes you feel as if you are sleeping outside. This feeling is especially glorious in the wonderful fall foliage months when the colorful leaves from the surrounding woods seem to be the rooms curtains.
    Rate: $220 - $235 per night double occupancy

    The Oriental RoomThe Oriental Room
    The Oriental Room reflects Mark & Deni's interest in Japan. Mark lived there for a couple of years and Deni's cousins lived in Japan when she was a little girl, bringing back presents including artwork which now adorns the room. The room is furnished with a Brass bed and an antique Victorian Sofa. It is another wonderfully romantic room with a working fireplace at the foot of the bed.
    Rate: $175 - $185 per night double occupancy

    The Family Suite is comprised of two large bedrooms, The Oriental Room and the Tuscana Twin Room, overlooking the front and side gardens.
    Rate: $320 - $335 per night double occupancy (for four people)

     

    The Tuscana Twin RoomThe Tuscana Twin Room
    This room is decorated in the warm vibrant colors of the Tuscany hillsides. Furnished with an antique dresser, a cozy love seat and two four poster twin beds, it's perfect for sisters, brothers or friends traveling together. The large windows face the east and south, overlooking the perennial gardens.
    Rate: $165 - $170 per night double occupancy

    The Family Suite is comprised of two large bedrooms, The Oriental Room and the Tuscana Twin Room, overlooking the front and side gardens.
    Rate: $320 - $335 per night double occupancy (up to four people)

     

    The Nautical RoomThe Nautical Room
    The Nautical Room is a cozy room, decorated in a Nautical theme complete with ship models, sea shells, lighthouses and even an old lobster trap from the Cabot Trail in Nova Scotia. The room is furnished with a four-poster queen-size bed opposite a working fireplace. Falling asleep with a blazing fire at the foot of the bed is one of life's romantic pleasures. A comfortable chair with footstool is placed next to the fireplace for those who wish to read next to the fireplace. The private bath is large and sunny also decorated in a blue and white nautical theme.

     The perfect room for those who love horses, the Equestrian room is another large room, with large windows facing east, so the rising sun "kisses you awake" in the morning. Dcorated in vibrant colors, the room is comfortably furnished with a queen-size sleigh bed, an antique oak dresser, an antique rocking chair and an over-sized easy chair ottoman combination. Most of our repeat customer think this is the best reading chair in the inn, a great place relax and unwind. Both the bedroom and the bathroom are in an equestrian theme with artwork from Deni's childhood and decorating touches from our travels in Ireland.
    Rate: $165 - $170 per night double occupancy

     

    The Charleston Room

     

    The Charleston Room
    This large sun filled room is located on the first floor of the Inn for easy access. It is a favorite with people who have difficulty climbing stairs, and also with people traveling with dogs. It is comfortably furnished with a four poster queen-size bed, an oriental carpet, an oak bureau, and an easy chair located next to the working fireplace. The modern bathroom has a large shower stall complete with bench and grab bar. The room is decorated with artwork and Sweet Grass baskets from Charleston SC, where Mark & Deni lived for 13 years, many of them spent on Queen St in the historic district
    Rate: $175 - $185 per night double occupancy

     

    • Innkeepers Mark and Deni Ellis are fluent in German and speak some French.
    • Restaurant open to the public Thursday, Friday and Saturday evenings.
    • We will do dinner for overnight guests on any night with advanced menu selection.
    • Full liquor license for the premises.
    • Check-in is at 3 pm, check-out is 11 am.
    • Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Traveler's Cheques, personal checks and cash (USD) accepted.
    • Valid credit card needed to hold reservation. Cancellation fee for less than 14 days notice.
    • Rates are per room per night for up to two people, breakfast included. Roll-aways available for third person at additional charge.
    • Corporate and long term rates available.

    • Breakfast is served from 7 am to 9 am.
    • Children welcome under parents' supervision.
