    Winterwood at Petersham is an elegant 17-room Greek Revival mansion located just off the common in the historic district of beautiful Petersham, Massachusetts. Across from a 32-acre wildlife meadow preserve, views of Mount Wachusett and the country-side reflect the tranquility of this classic New England town.

    Completed in 1842, this quintessential inn has been gracefully restored retaining much of its original ambiance. Five beautifully appointed guest rooms and one two room suite, each with a private inside bath and most with a working fireplace, assure one of a stay of comfort and relaxation. Guests can enjoy tea or linger over cocktails in front of the living room fireplace or on one of the inn's several porches.

    We are able to accommodate up to 70 people indoors using the dining room and the library that are adjacent to each other, and up to 100 people on the grounds under a tent for a sit down dinner. For a cocktail reception, we are able to accommodate up to 90 people indoors.

    Winterwood is centrally located in the lovely and historic town of Petersham,
    Massachusetts and is easily accessible from all points in New England.

    From New York City and Points South:
    Take Route 95 North to New Haven, Connecticut.
    From New Haven, travel North on Route 91.
    Exit East on Route 90 (Mass Turnpike).
    Take Exit Route 32 North (Palmer) to Route 32A (Gilbertville) to Petersham.

    From Points West (Springfield and Beyond):
    Travel Route 90 (Mass Turnpike) East to Route 32 North
    Exit to Route 32A North (Gilbertville).
    Follow to Petersham.

    From the Boston Area:
    Take Route 2 West to Route 32, Exit 17 South.
    Petersham is 6 miles South of Route 2 Exit.

    From Maine and New Hampshire:
    Travel Route 95 South to Route 2 West.
    Travel Route 2 to Route 32, Exit 17 South.
    Petersham is six miles South of Route 2 Exit.
