Barclay

Barclay is a large, bright room with a queen canopy bed, blue toile window valences and faux finish walls, comfortable seating and small private bath with a shower. Maximum Occupancy: 3. $105 - $355

Mary Mitchell

Mary Mitchell is our coziest room with a full-size four poster bed, fireplace (non-working) with hand-painted decorative trim, elegant Victorian draperies, comfortable seating and a large, bright private bath with shower and pedestal sink. Maximum Occupancy: 2. $95 - $325

Harmony

Harmony is a bright and airy room and offers a full size bed with bow canopy, and a large private bath with spacious vanity and a combination tub/shower. Maximum Occupancy: 2. $95 - $325

Empire

Empire has a queen four poster with bright morning sunshine streaming in the double windows, a (non-working) fireplace and compact private bath with a shower. Maximum Occupancy: 3. $105 - $355

Zenas Coffin

Zenas Coffin has a comfortable loveseat in the bay window, a full size canopy bed and a compact private bath with a shower. Maximum Occupancy: 2. $95 - $325

Elizabeth Starbuck

Elizabeth Starbuck offers a queen with bow canopy, toile wallpaper, (non-working) fireplace and a large private bath with a combination tub/shower. Maximum Occupancy: 3. $105 - $355

Brant Point

Brant Point, our room with a wonderful view of Nantucket Harbor, has its own stairway from the second floor and a queen bed, a pair of wing back chairs to enjoy the view, small refrigerator, and a sparkling white bath with glass-walled shower and spacious vanity. Maximum Occupancy: 3. $135 - $425

Family Suite - Aurora

Atlantic and Aurora, comprise our Family Suite, which is located at the top of the Main Inn. The Family Suite offers the two guest rooms, a sky-lighted sitting room with a small refrigerator and a full bath. Each of the guest rooms is air conditioned and has its own TV and telephone and can accommodate up to five guests. Aurora has a full size antique four poster and a twin size daybed. Garden Wing Rooms

The guestrooms in our Garden Wing are decorated in a summery Nantucket style with clear, bright colors, lots of blues, sparkling white woodwork, and rag rugs.

Campanula

Campanula is a bright and spacious room at the back of the Garden Wing with three windows, clear blue walls, a queen canopy bed and large private bath with white tile floor, a combination tub/shower and a pedestal sink. Maximum Occupancy: 3. $135 - $395

Jonquil

Jonquil offers vaulted ceilings with high windows and sky views, a queen bed, lemon colored walls and navy and white striped sofa with a private bath with a pedestal sink, white tile floors and a shower. Maximum Occupancy: 2. $135 - $395

Hydrangea

Hydrangea, with hydrangea colored walls, overlooks our Garden and has a queen bed with a bow canopy, wicker armoire and large bath with white tile floor. Maximum Occupancy: 3. $135 - $395

Forsythia

Forsythia offers a queen canopy bed and a twin antique workman's bed along with a private bath with white tiled floors, pedestal sink and shower. Maximum Occupancy: 3. $135 - $395

Primrose

Primrose has a queen four poster bed, a twin daybed with a blue and white stripe cover, and a spacious bath with white tile floor, pedestal sink and combination tub/shower. Maximum Occupancy: 3. $135 - $395

Sconset Rose

Sconset Rose is one of our largest rooms with summery yellow floral-stripe wallpaper, vaulted ceilings with high windows and sky views, a twin wicker daybed (with extra trundle) and large bath with white tile floors, a pedestal sink and a combination tub/shower. Maximum Occupancy: 4. $145 - $425

Rosa Rugosa

Rosa Rugosa is a cozy space with a queen bed tucked under the eave, vaulted ceilings with high windows and sky views and a lovely skylighted bath with a pedestal sink, white tile floors and a shower. Maximum Occupancy: 2. $135 - $395

Wisteria

Wisteria is our largest room with a king bed, twin daybed with trundle, high vaulted ceilings with high windows and sky views and a large bath with white tiled floors, pedestal sink and combination tub/shower. Maximum Occupancy: 4. $145 - $425

Enjoy our plentiful and varied Continental breakfast each morning. We serve Nantucket Roasters coffee, Portsmouth Teas, gourmet loose teas, fresh squeezed orange juice and cranberry juice, a fresh fruit platter, warm from the oven baked muffins, bagels with cream cheese and toasts with butter and jam and our home made Brass Lantern Granola with organic yogurt.

Each afternoon, return to the Brass Lantern to the aroma of fresh-baked cookies ready for our daily tea and enjoy a freshly brewed pot of Portsmouth Tea. During the summer, join us in the Garden for our Saturday evening wine and cheese social, and, for special celebrations, with Jamaican platters and hors d'oeuvres.

Nantucket is home to a wide variety of cultural, educational, environmental and preservation organizations – most of which offer a wide variety of activities for adults, children, and families to enhance your Nantucket getaway.

Policies

• All rates quoted are for double occupancy. The charge for additional people in a room is $25 per night for guests over 13 and $15 per night for guests from 5 to 12 years old. There is no charge for children under 4 years old.
• Cancellation Policy (Individual Booking): If your plans change and you need to cancel your reservation, you must notify us at least 14 days prior to your arrival. If we receive timely notification, we will refund your deposit, less a 10% cancellation fee. If we receive your cancellation less than 14 days prior to arrival, your deposit will be refunded only to the extent we are able to re-rent the room, less the 10% cancellation fee. We cannot be responsible for late arrivals or early departures due to weather or any other circumstance. Because of Nantucket's unique location, we must rely on advance reservations.
• Cancellation Policy (Group Booking): If your stay was booked as part of a group (wedding, business meeting, reunion, etc.) booking, the following policy applies. Notice of cancellation must be received at least 45 days prior to your arrival. If we receive timely notification, we will refund your deposit, less a 10% cancellation fee. If we receive your cancellation less than 45 days prior to arrival, your deposit will be refunded only to the extent we are able to re-rent the room, less the 10% cancellation fee. We cannot be responsible for late arrivals or early departures due to weather or any other circumstance. Because of Nantucket's unique location, we must rely on advance reservations.
• Deposit Policy: For stays of three nights or less, full prepayment is required to confirm your reservation. For stays of four nights or more, a 50% deposit (with a minimum of three nights) is required to confirm your reservation, and the balance is due upon arrival. We accept Visa, MasterCard and American Express. If you have made an online booking, a second confirmation indicating the paid deposit, will be sent to you within 24 hours.
• Check in time is 2 pm and checkout time is 11 am. We are happy to store your luggage should your travel plans require you to arrive earlier or depart later than our posted times.
• Pet Policy: Well-behaved pets are welcome at the Brass Lantern Inn. The pet fee is $20 per day and owners provide food, bowls and all equipment, including a crate, if your pet is crate-trained. The guest takes full responsibility for the pet including liability for any possible damage to any part of the Inn caused by the pet.
