Located in the historical town of Lexington, Massachusetts, the Fireside Bed and Breakfast is a unique and charming bed and breakfast offering country-like accommodations only minutes from Boston. Enjoy the welcoming charm of our Bed and Breakfast filled with the comforts of home-cooked fireside breakfasts, cozy quilts and country antiques.
Fireside Bed and Breakfast offers four-season New England charm with distinct decorated guestrooms each with modern private tile baths. Guests share a private leisure room displaying photographs of historical scenes, cable color TV, a desk and a pub table with swivel chairs to challenge the Innkeeper at a game of chess or indulge in casual historical reading of Lexington. We offer our living and dining rooms year round for a more open and spacious environment.
Breakfast is offered in the dining room between 7:30 A.M. to 9:00 A.M.
with coffee available at 7 a.m.

Coffee, tea or hot chocolateDuring summer, guests are encouraged to enjoy the sun while swimming in our heated in-ground pool and viewing the one acre of wooded and landscaped yard, which borders conservation land, from poolside or our open mahogany deck. Enjoy a spring or summer breakfast in the formal dining room or screened -in porch. Fall foliage in the Boston area is a beautiful time of year. Enjoy the fiery colors of New England of our maple trees, while in winter, breakfast is offered in the Innkeeper's formal dining room enjoying the view and the warmth of a glowing fireplace. In the spring, while the mist is still in the air, enjoy the re-enactment activities that led to the start of the Revolutionary War.

From the EAST, Logan Airport and Downtown Boston: Take the tunnel to Boston and travel north on I-93. Exit onto I-95/Route 128 south towards Waltham. Take exit 31B, Route 4/Route 225 towards Bedford. Take 1st street on right after exiting highway (Eldred Street).
Our house is #24 Eldred, the sixth house on the left, brick front Garrison Colonial.
From the WEST of Boston (I-90 or Route 2): Travel I-90 or Route 2 east to I-95/Route 128 north. Take exit 31B, Route 4/Route 225 heading towards Bedford. Take 1st street on the right after exiting highway (Eldred Street). Follow directions above to #24 Eldred Street.
From the NORTH of Boston (I-95, I-93 or Route 3): Travel I-95, I-93, Route 3 south to I-95/Route 128 South. Travel I-95/Route 128 South to exit 31B. Take Route 4/Route 225 towards Bedford. Follow directions above to #24 Eldred Street.
From the SOUTH, (Rhode Island): Travel I-95 north to Route 128 north which is also I-95. Continue on I-95/Route 128 north passing I-90 and Route 2. Take exit 31B, Route 4/Route 225 heading towards Bedford. Take the first street on the right after exiting highway (Eldred Street). Follow directions above to #24 Eldred Street.
