Garden Gables Inn

You’ll enter this two-room suite (named after our farm winery) from the private entrance of the Eladesor Cottage, just to the left of the Main House of the Inn. The library entry room provides a beautiful secretary-style desk, twin pull-out sofa, and bar area with refrigerator. This is a perfect spot to put pen to paper, or curl up with a good book while others sleep in the adjoining bedroom/sitting room.  Inside, you will find a queen four-poster bed appointed with vintage-inspired Ralph Lauren® bedding, 540 thread count Egyptian cotton sheets and deluxe euro mattress.  The bed and gracious sitting area both face the large, working fireplace, topped by a 32" LCD TV with DVD/CD player.  French doors open to reveal a private covered porch; looking out over the spacious lawns, your view is framed by majestic weeping willow trees. The suite has a large private bathroom with claw foot tub and separate shower. Air conditioning and plenty of closet space round out the gracious accommodations. When combined, the two Eladesor Cottage suites create a completely private enclave, ideal for a group of friends or family, sleeping up to nine (rates shown below are based on two people, additional guests are $60 per person, per night).

Named after our Hilltop Orchards farm (in neighboring Richmond), this 3-room suite can accommodate up to six in its living room (with queen sofa-bed) and two bedrooms.  Located on the second floor of the Eladesor Cottage, just to the left of the Main House, you will enter via a private staircase.  At the top of the staircase, to your right you will find your   private balcony porch, providing a tranquil spot to sit and relax with an expansive view of the Inn's grounds.  To your left, you will enter the living room, with spacious sitting areas, working fireplace and a bar area with refrigerator.  Sue Leal, a local artist whose work is featured throughout the Inn, has painted a large mural of the historic Lenox Village that graces the living room.  One bedroom has a queen bed and the second has two twin beds, all with crisp Ralph Lauren® bedding, 540 thread count Egyptian cotton sheets and deluxe euro mattresses.   The private bath is located between the two bedrooms. Air conditioning and a 32" LCD TV, with DVD/CD player, complete the appointments. When combined, the two Eladesor Cottage suites create a completely private enclave, ideal for a group of friends or family, sleeping up to nine (rates shown below are   based on four people, additional guests are $60 per person, per night).

The McIntosh Cottage Room offers a spacious accommodation, recently updated with a king bed, deluxe euro mattress, beautiful 540-count linens and designer fabrics. Your sitting area and bed face a working fireplace, which provides a cozy setting for your enjoyment.  The large private bathroom offers a tub and shower.  A beamed cathedral ceiling with skylight provides a bright and peaceful ambiance for your stay, with a working fireplace to warm you on a chilly night. Other amenities include air-conditioning, flat panel LCD TV with built-in DVD player and iPOD clock radio. This room can be configured with two twin beds - please specify this request at time of reservation.

The Honey Crisp Room, completely renovated in 2010, has a four-poster king bed, featuring 540 count linens, designer fabrics and deluxe euro mattress.  You’ll relax in the spaciousness afforded by the cathedral ceiling and large private bathroom with 6' whirlpool tub / shower and radiant heated floor. Comfy club chairs adjoin the working fireplace. The room is air-conditioned and includes a marble topped wet bar and small refrigerator, flat panel LCD TV with built-in DVD player and iPOD clock radio.

The Cortland Cottage Room has been updated recently to provide a spacious accommodation highlighted by a king bed with deluxe euro mattress, featuring beautiful 540-count linens and designer fabrics. As shown, the king bed can be converted to two twins (please request at time of reservation). The room has a sitting area and large private bathroom with tub and shower.  You will appreciate the beamed cathedral ceiling with skylight.  Enjoy the working fireplace on a chilly night. Other amenities include air-conditioning, flat panel LCD TV with built-in DVD player and iPOD clock radio.

The Macoun Cottage Room is spacious with three windows, two skylights and a beamed cathedral ceiling.  The one-of-a kind hand carved king bed is made of solid teak and features 540 count linens, Ralph Lauren designer fabrics, 700-fill down comforter and deluxe euro mattress. Relax in the spacious private bath, with tub and shower, and the sitting area where you will sink into comfortable club chairs with ottomans. A wood burning fireplace, flat panel LCD TV with built-in DVD player, iPOD clock radio and air conditioning will make your stay in the Macoun Cottage Room most enjoyable.

Located on the second floor of the historic Butternut Cottage (cc1780), this large, charming, traditionally-decorated room can be configured with two twin beds (as shown in photo) or a king bed, on request.  The beds feature 540-count linens and 700-fill down comforters.  The working corner fireplace is the focal point of this room, which was the bedroom of the original owner Miss Carey (read about Miss Carey on our history page). A small private bathroom with tub and shower, LCD TV with DVD/CD player, iPOD clock radio, air conditioning make your room complete.

Room 3, which was completely renovated in 2011, is located on the second floor of the original 1780 Butternut cottage, will provide you with an elegant and comfortable setting for your time away in the Berkshires.  The highlight of the room is the double person jacuzzi tub, set in a separate, marble-tiled bathroom.  A beautiful wrought iron queen bed is outfitted with luxurious Ralph Lauren bedding and 540-count cotton sheets. The seating area has double french windows that look out onto the south lawn of the Inn. There is also an elegant writing desk and a corner gas fireplace to provide just that right touch of romance.  Other amenities include air-conditioning, flat panel LCD TV with built-in DVD player and iPOD clock radio.

This room is one of our guests' favorites.  It enjoys a secluded location in the rear of the Inn, on the 1st floor.  The four-poster king bed features Ralph Lauren bedding, 540-count linens and 700-fill down comforter, and from it you will look out over your private porch and the west lawn.  A large, full private bath is appointed with a whirlpool tub for one. Step directly from your room onto your porch, where you will find more seating and a private stairway to the grounds and pool.  Air-conditioning, LCD cable TV with DVD/CD player and iPOD clock radio are included in your accommodation.
