Ground Floor Suite: The Williams Suite
The Williams Suite, named for the original tavern, is on the first floor in the oldest section of the house. Walk into a living room with a double sleeper sofa and two comfortable chairs. The bedroom has a king-sized bed (with the option of twins) and is filled with antiques. (The headboard is made from the sides of an antique pump organ.) The large bathroom has a tub/shower combination. There’s plenty of storage in the ample closets in the living room and bathroom. Walk through the bedroom door onto your own deck with a table and chairs over- looking a pretty wooded area. The living room has a TV/VCR and small refrigerator.
Ground Floor Suite: Trail's End
This peaceful first floor room is perfect for travelers who prefer not to climb stairs or are looking for a moderately priced room with the option of a king bed or two twins. Trail’s End has soothing sage green painted walls and carpet. The armoire is perfect as a dresser containing a flat screen television for guests’ viewing pleasure. Hidden inside one of the night tables is a compact refrigerator to keep your food and beverages cold. The private, en-suite bathroom has an easily navigated shower. There is also a small deck with a bistro table and two chairs for enjoying some private time.
Second Floor: Bouquet
Bouquet, is a sunny room in the front of the house. Its walls boast big flourishes of flowers and three large windows to take advantage of the sun. A queen sized bed, Gothic Revival bedroom set, antique walnut wardrobe and romantic fireplace (seasonal) provide the perfect ambiance for relaxation and romance. The room has a private bathroom with a tile shower.
Second Floor: Berkshire View
Berkshire View is a large, sunny room with a four-poster queen bed and lots of windows. Its turreted sitting area has a wing back chair, antique English armoire, and a love seat that opens to reveal a single sofa bed. Enjoy fresh air and cool breezes from your private screened-in porch. The private bathroom contains a tile shower.
Second Floor: Audubon
Audubon, boasts a great high 4-poster king canopy bed, antique love seat and Victorian chair. The bathroom, one of two original to the building, has an antique claw-foot tub with shower.
Second Floor: Summer Breezes
Summer Breeze, is a very special room in all four seasons. This brass queen bedded room has a fireplace and its own screened porch. The bathroom, the second original bathroom in the building, has an original claw-foot tub with shower.
Second Floor: Heirloom
Heirloom, has a queen sized antique oak bed, two Victorian chairs and a Gothic Revival dresser. It has a private bathroom with shower.
Second Floor: Simplicity
Simplicity, is our coziest room. It has a queen bed, working wood burning fireplace (seasonal), antique furniture and two chairs. The private bathroom has a shower.
Second Floor: Hope’s Room
Hope’s Room, can be set up as twin beds or a king. Antique chairs and dresser complete this room named for one of the antique prints. There is a small television for those who can’t do without it. The private bathroom has a shower.
Second Floor: Mrs. Quincy’s Room
Mrs.Quincy’s Room, is named for one of the most influential women in the history of Lenox, Deborah Quincy. This room has a romantic queen canopy bed from which the fireplace is in full view. The room has a private bathroom with shower.
Second Floor: Victorian Dreams
Victorian Dreams, is often called the honeymoon suite because it is so romantic. A high four-poster queen-sized oak bed commands a great view of the corner fireplace (seasonal). Two comfortable wingback chairs complete the ambiance. A television is hidden from sight, but ready if you want it. The turret bathroom contains an antique soaking tub and a separate large tile shower.
Second Floor: Lady Harrison's Suite
Lady Harrison’s Suite, is decorated with pink bows and flowers creating an indoor romance garden. A king size bed, a collection of oak pieces, and a frilly dressing table complete the bedroom area. In front of the seasonal wood burning fireplace is an overstuffed love seat (with a twin sofa bed) and chair. Hidden in a closet is the television. Lady Harrison’s Suite has a full bath with a tub and shower combination. The option of twin beds is available.
Second Floor: Colonel's Choice Suite
Colonel’s Choice, is decorated in bold jewel tone colors. Asian artifacts complement the red walls and quilt on the king sized bed. The sofa in front of the seasonal wood burning fireplace opens to reveal a twin size sofa bed. A television is hidden in the closet. This room has a full bath with a tub/shower combination. If you wish, twin beds may be set up.
Third Floor: Silhouette
Silhouette, is a perfect room for a family or friends traveling together. It has a beautifully carved English antique headboard and foot board on the queen-size bed, a twin bed and large armoire. The private bathroom has a tile shower. The walls are decorated with silhouettes of the owners’ family members.
Third Floor: The Aerie
The Aerie is a romantic “garret room” with an intricately carved British antique queen bed with headboard and foot board. Two wing back chairs in the dormer make a very cozy sitting area with views of the Berkshire Hills. This room has a private bathroom with shower.
Third Floor: Revel’s Retreat
Revels Retreat, often called The Turret Room, is one of our most popular rooms. Decorated in French Provincial blues and yellows, this stunning two-level turret suite is perfect for a romantic interlude or family getaway. On the lower level is a high Renaissance Revival queen bed facing a stunning gas fireplace (seasonal) with a beautiful wooden mantle. The private bathroom with shower is also on the lower level. Walk up four stairs to the turret and you’ll find a single sleigh bed, television and chair. Enjoy the sunrise and sunset from the windows which surround the turret on three sides.
Third Floor: Arbor
Arbor, one of our smaller rooms, Arbor has a queen canopy bed, skylight, and comfortable chair in the dormer, perfect for reading. Its private bathroom has a shower.
Third Floor: Wildflowers
Wildflowers, this newly renovated room, has an antique cherry headboard on a high queen bed and a cozy sitting area with gas fireplace (seasonal) and television. A small alcove with desk is perfect as a work station, for journaling or as a vanity. The room has a private bathroom with tile shower.
Third Floor: The Tavern Room
The Tavern Room, one of our smaller rooms, was named in honor of the small rooms available for travelers in the early 1800′s. This room has a queen bed, two windows, a cozy dormer with a chair and table. It has a private bathroom with shower.
Third Floor: Sunrise
Sunrise, this newly renovated room has a king bed (it can be converted to twin beds, if preferred), two comfortable chairs, a gas fireplace (seasonal), and television. It has a private bathroom with a shower.
Rates shown are for up to two people sharing a room and include our full buffet breakfast and afternoon refreshments. Most rooms can accommodate only two people. Some rooms, and all suites, can accommodate additional guests. With more than two people in a room, regardless of guests’ age, there is an additional fee of $35 per day for each additional person. All rates are subject to a 5% gratuity and 11.7% state and local lodging tax.
