Harwich Bed and Breakfasts
Harwich is a town in Barnstable County in the Barnstable Town metro area, and boasts many warm and inviting B&B establishments. Billed as the largest small town festival around, organizers of the Harwich Cranberry Festival have hosted this popular event for over 25 years. Activities vary yearly, but count on a parade, carnival, arts and craft shows, spectacular fireworks and many food vendors on hand. In the summer, the town is host to the Harwich Mariners of the Cape Cod Baseball League. The Mariners are the 2008 league champions. The team plays at Whitehouse Field. The Cape Cod Museum of Art's mission is to collect, conserve, study, interpret and exhibit works by outstanding artists associated with Cape Cod and the Islands. Through its programs, the museum seeks to preserve the artistic heritage of the area and to foster artistic and cultural growth within the individual and the community. There is always so much going on in this town so if you are planning a visit why not book a room in advance at a Harwich bed and breakfast or a Harwich inn. The Sandwich Glass Museum combines classic exhibits of its extensive collection with state-of-the-art technology used to bring many of the new installations to life. This is a great Cape Cod watering hole, totally Mass-tastic, and really popular with the Harwich set. They've got a bunch of great beers on tap -Long Trail, a rarity, and Sam Adams Summer, Blue Moon, just to mention a few.
