New features offered in 2010 include our new outdoor pool and waterfall. You will see the water cascading as you drive up the hill to the Inn. This along with many porches, decks and balconies allow guests the opportunity to truly appreciate the beauty of nature up close and unspoiled while enjoying a premier bed and breakfast voted as one of "New England's Best". Enjoy the antics of the chipmunks or marvel at the grace of a butterfly as it soars through the flower gardens. Count the wild turkeys that parade across the back yard. Watch as the deer harvest fruit just as it's ready to pick and experience Western Massachusetts, the Pioneer Valley, the Five College Area and unique Amherst and Northampton like never before!

Proximity to the five colleges in the Northampton/Amherst area (Mount Holyoke College, Smith College, Hampshire College, Amherst College and the University of Massachusetts Amherst) allows guests a wide variety of diverse cultural events from which to choose. There is always something happening! Well known for the many outstanding restaurants within a ten mile radius of the inn, sample menus and recommendations for a great dinner spot are yours for the asking.Ivory Creek Bed and Breakfast Inn offers comfortable and spacious guest rooms, each uniquely decorated with antique and reproduction furnishings, warm hardwood floors with oriental carpets, private baths with tub and shower and working gas fireplaces. A handicapped accessible bedroom with a fabulous over-sized luxury bath and private deck is available on the first floor. All room rates include a full multi-course gourmet breakfast served several times through the morning to accommodate various guest schedules. All rooms have air-conditioning, ceiling fans and wireless Internet access as well.

As you enter the Ivory Creek B&B you know you have arrived somewhere special. The Inn is a combination of outstanding architectural features, common areas and private nooks where you can rest, relax or just have fun. The front entry is graced by a hand carved spiral staircase leading to the second level. Our pleasant living room offers plenty of room and comfortable chairs for reading, relaxing, and planning area activities. Guests with children will love the family room, which is set up with toys, games, and television with VCR and CD player. This room is situated away from other rooms. Located on the lower level is a large family and activity room. The large "L" shaped sofa faces a wide, flat screen television - great for watching movies or sporting events. You'll also find a regulation slate pool table.
The spiral staircase leads you to the second level where most of our guest rooms are located. Also on the second level you'll find a cozy reading room with shelves full of books and large windows to provide pleasant light any time of year. Just one of the unique features of the Ivory Creek B&B Inn is an aviary. The aviary houses a collection of indigenous birds, and is a delight for guests of all ages.



Gourmet breakfasts, served throughout the morning in the spacious dining room with fireplace, on the plant-filled sun porch or out on the back deck weather permitting, may include such items as Mimi's Puffed French Toast, Fresh Herb and Garlic Cheese Eggs, Lemon Souffle Pancakes, Hot Cinnamon Sticky Buns or Tod's Red Pepper Tomato Surprise. We promise you will not go away hungry!! Guests love the Butler's Pantry. Here you can help yourself anytime to coffee, tea, soft drinks and snacks.

Ivory Creek Bed and Breakfast is located in Hadley, Massachusetts. Between Northampton and Amherst, Hadley is approximately 2 hours west of Boston, 3 hours north of New York City. It is accessed easily from both the Massachusetts Turnpike and Interstate Route 91. Detailed directions will be sent with a confirmation letter when your reservation is confirmed.
From the East (Boston):
Massachusetts Turnpike (I-90) West to I-91 North (Mass Pike Exit 4). I-91 North to Exit 19 (Route 9 – Northampton, Hadley, Amherst). Turn right off the exit ramp onto Route 9 East. Take Route 9 across the Coolidge Bridge and travel approximately 1.5 miles to the traffic light in the center of Hadley. Turn right onto Middle Street and go approximately 0.5 miles to the blinking light at the intersection of Middle Street and Route 47. Turn left onto Route 47 South and continue on Route 47 for approximately 1.7 miles. Turn left onto Chmura Road. The driveway for 31 Chmura Road is located on the right approximately 0.25 miles from the Route 47/Chmura Road intersection.
From the North:
Interstate I-91 South to Exit 20 (Northampton). Turn right off the ramp but stay in the far left lane. Turn left at the traffic light onto Damon Road and follow until Damon Road ends at Route 9 (about 1 mile). Turn left at this light onto Route 9. Take Route 9 across the Coolidge Bridge and travel approximately 1.5 miles to the traffic light in the center of Hadley. Turn right onto Middle Street and go approximately 0.5 miles to the blinking light at the intersection of Middle Street and Route 47. Turn left onto Route 47 South and continue on Route 47 for approximately 1.7 miles. Turn left onto Chmura Road. The driveway for 31 Chmura Road is located on the right approximately 0.25 miles from the Route 47/Chmura Road intersection.
From the South:

Turn left at the stoplight at the intersection of Route 9 and East Street in Hadley. The red brick U.S. Post Office for Hadley can be seen on the right at this intersection. Follow East Street until it ends at Route 47. Turn left onto Route 47 South and continue on Route 47 for approximately 1.3 miles. Turn left onto Chmura Road. The driveway for 31 Chmura Road is located on the right approximately 0.25 miles from the Route 47/Chmura Road intersection.
From Mt Holyoke College:
From the intersection of routes 116 and 47 in the center of South Hadley, follow route 47 North (toward Hadley) for 5.3 miles. Turn right onto Chmura Road. The driveway for 31 Chmura Road is located on the right approximately 0.25 miles from the Route 47/Chmura Road intersection.From Hampshire College:
Follow Route 116 South from Hampshire College. Turn right onto Bay Road at the Atkins Fruit Stand intersection. Follow Bay Road for approximately 2 miles until it intersects with Route 47. At this stop sign turn left onto Route 47 South and continue on Route 47 for approximately 1.1 miles. Turn left onto Chmura Road. The driveway for 31 Chmura Road is located on the right approximately 0.25 miles from the Route 47/Chmura Road intersection.From Smith College:
Follow Route 9 East. Take Route 9 across the Coolidge Bridge and travel approximately 1.5 miles to the traffic light in the center of Hadley. Turn right onto Middle Street and go approximately 0.5 miles to the blinking light at the intersection of Middle Street and Route 47. Turn left onto Route 47 South and continue on Route 47 for approximately 1.7 miles. Turn left onto Chmura Road. The driveway for 31 Chmura Road is located on the right approximately 0.25 miles from the Route 47/Chmura Road intersection.Note: The house cannot be seen from Chmura Road. You will drive nearly 800 feet up the side of the Mount Holyoke Range before you see the house. Look for this sign on the right.
