Long Dell Inn strives to be a locavore establishment with most foodstuffs used produced within 100 miles of Cape Cod. By providing locally produced, fresh foods, we hope to create outstanding dining experiences for our guests, resist industrialized and processed foods, and support the local economy.

    Breakfast will be one of the highlights of your stay. Prepared by the Chef/Owner, a retired professional chef, Dennis' breakfasts are always bountiful, always homemade. A breakfast menu of wonderful, always available choices: eggs, breakfast meats, fresh fruit, cereals, breads and baked goods, yogurts, fresh-squeezed orange juice, as well as his daily specials (Gingerbread Waffles with cinnamon butter, Lemon Ricotta Pancakes with fresh raspberry syrup, Baked Peach French Toast) await you.

    Outside the inn - SummerLong Dell Inn was built in 1849 as a private residence by a local sea captain, Reuben Jones. Captain Jones established his wealth during the California Gold Rush and retired at an early age of 32, choosing Centerville to be his home port. The architect designed the home as a classic Greek Revival, with plenty of rooms to accommodate Reuben’s wife and children.

    The home is now listed on the National Register of Historic Places as well as being in the Historic District of Centerville. It has operated as a Guest House/Bed & Breakfast Inn for over seventy years. Long Dell refers to the property's long and sloping back yard.
