Circa 1801. Old Manse Inn, an antique sea captains manor located on Cape Cod in the heart of historic Brewster,. the "Sea Captain's town". The Old Manse has been home to generations of legendary seafarers plus the first Cape Cod Lutheran Chapel. The Inn offers seven deluxe and 5 luxury individually decorated and preserved rooms most with firepalces each with private bath with every modern amenity. Our magnificent dining room comes complete with the elegant oak paneling and beams that were installed over a century ago. And our guest rooms and suites are luxurious. Depending on the ones selected, they come complete with hand inlaid fireplaces, antique armoires, period furnishings, deluxe canopied beds, hardwood flooring, oriental carpets, luxurious linens and spreads, and handsome marine and landscape paintings throughout. All include private baths, air conditioning, cable television, wireless internet and access to our in-house guest phone.
In addition, to enhance your experience even further, each morning begins as you awaken to the aroma of a gourmet breakfast, served at a leisurely hour between 8:30 and 9:30 am. The Rose Room
Here you"ll find a magnificent Federal style canopied queen size bed. Its featherbed topping makes for a glorious night"s sleep. In this magnificent sun filled room you'll find wall coverings featuring a romantic rose colored motif, in the historic Toile pattern, that depicts magical country scenes. As you ready yourselves for a romantic evening out room offers a delightful restroom that allows one person to shower while the other can freshen up in a second bath area. It also features a flat screen cable/DVD TV to enjoy a movie from our library selection.

The Chart Room
This cozy first floor room is a favorite for all the men. It has a romantic maritime decor with historic map wall coverings, classic built-in storage shelves. The gas stove within a brick fireplace will warm you up as you relish in the comfort of the room. The brass four poster bed with feather bed topping makes for an incredible night's sleep. The Vineyard Room
The Vineyard Room is our latest addition in our recently renovated historic barn. This luxury room has all the charm, beauty and comfort of our historic sea captains house with a gas marbled fireplace, ceiling fans, Wi-Fi and flat screen cable TV. This luxury first floor room is accessed by a private entrance and large double windows provide an expansive view of the west lawn. This room features a king canopy bed and two comfortable chairs for reading. The bathing salon beckons with its whirlpool tub and bath gels. This room is has a warm bronze wall paper separate shower and beautiful carved oak vanity. Early morning coffee or tea is easily accessible down the hall from our Keurig coffee machine. Also provided is a refrigerator to store your wine or soft drinks. The Vineyard Room is a perfect romantic getaway.

The Nauset Room
Brighten your vacation in this impressive room with blue and yellow bed comforters that give this room its cheerful motif. This room features a Celtic Iron queen bed and a twin bed for accommodating three guests. Its large closet and dresser gives you plenty of room for a longer stay. After a day on the bike trails or at the beach you'll look forward to relaxing in the wing chair or kicking up your feet to enjoy a DVD on our flat screen cable TV. Upon gazing out the windows you'll enjoy the stunning view of a dramatic church steeple and landscaped lawns.

The Captain's Room
Rich's favorite. As you enter this room you'll be impressed with its elegance. This room features a queen size, mahogany, four poster canopied bed. Other elegant features include stunning nautical paintings, and antique Baltimore harbor prints. On either side of the mahogany paneled fireplace, the windows overlook the sweeping landscape surrounding the Old Manse Inn. This room also offers wide pine floorboards reminiscent of early Colonial times and a magnificent oversized full tub and shower bath, with a charming dressing table area as well. Staying in this room will surely make you enjoy a captain's experience.

The Blue Room
Here an elegant floral carved armoire faces a magnificent queen sleigh bed with a feather bed topping. Wake up in this room and you'll feel like a princess. It has a superb corner view overlooking a quaint New England church and the beautiful landscape of The Old Manse making this a special place. This spacious room also offers the ultimate in privacy, having its own entry foyer that comes complete with an antique desk. Finally, the room offers a corner fireplace, beautifully upholstered chair, charming bath and shower, and flat screen cable/DVD television as well. You'll find it hard to leave this room in the morning but you won't want to miss out on a deliciously prepared breakfast.

The Admiral Suite
Upon entering this romantic suite through a private entrance, you'll be greeted by a luxurious Celtic Iron king size canopy bed with piles of plump pillows and a feather mattress making this a haven of romance. This bedroom features 520 sq ft of spacious luxury. You'll find this room cool and spacious in the summer and cozy as can be in the winter. It has a sitting area, big screen TV with cable/DVD, and a pleasing gas stove. Off of the main bedroom guests will find a separate dressing area with vanity. The bathing salon will impress you with its 6-foot luxury massaging tub, large shower and twin pedestal sinks. Beyond the main bedroom sits a private deck with potted flowers overlooking our lovely wooded backyard. This room makes for a wonderful retreat for honeymooners or anyone celebrating a special occasion. You may consider a private massage in this room or maybe a romantic dinner for 2 on the deck.

The Garden Room
Soft and elegant, this room features delicate mauve flowered wall coverings and drapes. Snuggle up in this canopied, queen size, four poster, early pine bed that directly faces our hand-tiled fireplace and cozy stove. It features a corner window view of two beautiful New England Churches. Floral hooked rugs and early American candled sconces, mirrors and garden paintings, accent the early American pine furniture throughout. Plenty of room for all your things is a spacious closet and antique dresser. This room features a shower, bath and cable/DVD television.

The Singer Room
Named for the antique Singer sewing table inside, the room includes a mahogany four poster queen size bed. The bathroom has a unique and advantageous design; the shower is in a separate room from the sink and lavatory allowing plenty of space for the two of you to get ready for an evening out in one of many fine restaurants. The Queen Ann wing back chair offers a great place to curl up with a good book. This room offers a third floor view of not one, but two, country churches. All complimented by beautiful rose pattern floral linens in burgundies and greens and an elegant Chenille bed covering. Plus flat screen cable/DVD TV. The Nantucket Room
This new luxury room has been created within the beautifully renovated historic barn. After returning from a day at the beach or taking in the sites of Cape Cod you’ll enjoy all the charm, beauty, comfort and warmth this room has to offer. It reflects what a sea captains home may have been like. With its grand 10 foot ceilings and romantic king sleigh bed you’ll find it difficult to leave. A first floor room accessed by private entrance has expansive view of the Inn’s west lawn. This room features, seating area, gas marbled fireplace, ceiling fan, Wi-Fi, and flat screen cable television. The bathing salon is wrapped in cream beadboard, cottage style wainscoting. There is an oak carved vanity and large wood framed mirror. After relaxing in the claw foot tub enjoy your time together at one of our many fine local restaurants or just curled up with a good DVD. Early morning coffee or tea is easily accessible down the hall from our Keurig coffee machine. Also provided is a refrigerator to store your wine or soft drinks. This is your New England Island room to remember.
