"Come to the Old Brick Inn to relax and escape your everyday life!". The Inn is comprised of three buildings, the historic Main House dating back to 1816, and the Carriage House, built in 1985, and the historic Kemp House, built in 1809. Between the Main House and the Carriage House is a private, charming brick courtyard, with garden, fountains, and a small swimming pool, providing peace and quiet in the center of downtown St. Michaels. The Kemp House is located on a large, beautifully landscaped lot. This house provides private patio areas on the grounds as well as a beautiful front porch, perfect for relaxing in the fresh air.The Old Brick Inn is within several blocks of everything wonderful in St. Michaels. The Chesapeake Maritime Museum, antique shops, boutiques, gourmet and family-style restaurants are closeby. Bicycle rentals, tennis courts and the harbor are a short walk away. Several terrific golf courses are not far from the inn. Harbourtowne golf course is just outside St. Michaels, Hog Neck and the Easton Club are located in Easton, and Queenstown Harbor Links is a 25 minute drive from us. The historic and interesting towns of Oxford, Tilghman Island and Easton are a 15 minute drive from St. Michaels.
The Old Brick Inn is the perfect place to stay while in St. Michaels. From the inn, you can walk to the shops, down to the water and take in the view or go to one of the many local restaurants. Or you can simply stay at the inn and relax with a good book or a glass of wine in our private courtyard.
Each of our 20 guest rooms are luxuriously decorated and has its own private bath (and we’re high tech, too – we now offer Wireless Internet Service!). Every morning, after a night of great sleep, you are greeted with the aromas of a fresh, delectable homemade breakfast – this healthy and hearty combination will leave you feeling satisfied and ready to enjoy your day in St. Michaels.
