Lavender Cottage
Lavender is a favorite among guests. This private cottage offers the best of both the in-and out-of-doors. French doors open to a screened-in porch where rocking chairs invite you to rest and enjoy the garden fragrances and waterfront view of Back Creek. In contrast, the warmth and glow of the gas fireplace beckon you indoors.

Peppermint Suite
Spacious Peppermint offers all the amenities for an extended stay or a short retreat. A private entrance leading to Nags Head hammock chairs enclosed by a screened-in porch overlooking the gardens and waterfront, create a true feeling of delicious retreat for guests. The antique desk provides a place for reading, writing, or laptop use and a large futon provides a sleeping accommodation for extra guests.

Rosemary Room

Thyme Suite
Thyme is the largest of all Back Creek Inn’s guest rooms. Very quiet, with a private entrance, Thyme is a secret place in which to really get away. The warmth of the gas fireplace is perfect during the winter months. Its patio area is a perfect place to read. A desk and oversized armoire, accompanied by a comfortable sofa, provide a home away from home feel, while still offering the pleasures of a full-service Inn.

Policies
- Rates based on double occupancy, continental or full breakfast included
- Suites allow for a third person, $25.00 charge for each additional guest
- 10% discount for 3 or more nights
- Government or corporate rates available
- Visa and MasterCard accepted
- April through October: 2-night minimum on weekends
- Holiday weekends require a 3-night minimum
- November through March: 1-night stays available except for holiday weekends (3-night minimum)
- Check-in between 1:00-8:00 p.m. An "ETA" is requested
- Check-out time is 11:00 a.m.
- Cancellations must be made 3 days in advance of arrival, for full refund, less $5.00 handling fee
- If less than 3 days and we are able to rebook, the refund policy will be honored
- Guests are requested to limit smoking to outdoor areas
- Children over 12 are welcome
