    The Savannah RoomThe Savannah Room

    We feel each guestroom captures the romantic and fun flavor of our favorite cruising destinations. The Cape Cod, West Indies, and Savannah rooms are meticulously decorated with sophistication and whimsy in mind.

    The Savannah Room is inspired by a city famous for hospitality and character. Amenities include a hand-carved king sized posted bed, elegant furnishings, cable TV, additional dressing room, and spacious bath.

    West Indies Room

    Head down island to our West Indies Room. The queen sized posted bed is surrounded by turn of the century island decor and tropical plants while the bath is a celebration of the vibrant colors found throughout the Caribbean Islands.

    The Cape Cod Suite

    The Cape Cod Suite captures the relaxing charm of a beach cottage. This suite offers an additional Nantucket bedroom that is done in nautical decor. Both rooms have a queen sized bed and share the nautical private bath.

    Rates & Policies

    • Check-in: 3 - 7 p.m. unless otherwise notified.
    • Check-out: Monday thru Saturday - 11 a.m., Sunday - 10:30 a.m.
    • Rates shown include a THREE course GOURMET breakfast served at 8:30 a.m. (unless otherwise arranged) and 24 hour tea/coffee bar
    • Gift Certificates are offered and will be sent per your request
    • Weekday Rates (Monday - Thursday): $130 any guest room
    • Weekend Rates (Friday, Saturday, Sunday): $145 any guest room
    • $40 additional charge for a "one night only" weekends only
    • Cash or Check only please
    • $30 fee for a cot set-up
    • $50 fee for use of the Nantucket Bed

    Ruffled Duck Inn Bed and Breakfast - Oxford, MarylandThe Ruffled Duck Inn is nestled in the historic district of the charming Eastern Shore Village of Oxford, Maryland. This completely renovated historic inn is the light hearted vision of yachtsmen Libby and Danny Cole. The blending of traditional and eclectic décor throughout the inn reflects their lives on the water as well as the rich history of the village that was once Maryland's largest port of call.

    After a good night's rest in one of the comfortable new beds and a gourmet breakfast, feel free to get creative in our art studio. Examine historical charts and lore in the cozy library within reach of a fully stocked coffee/tea bar. Take a stroll through our gardens or just relax on the old front porch swing.

    The Ruffled Duck Inn is situated within walking distance from public beaches and across from Towne Park and the beautiful Tred Avon River. Guests can take in a sunset over bay waters from our front porch swing or walk around the back to world famous boatyards such as Cutts & Case or Hinckley Yachts. Walk or bike to the swimming beach or tennis courts, stop at our little museum or the library. Golf, hunting, fishing, historic and nature tours, kayaking, antiquing, biking, sailing and motor boating can be arranged for you. Just let us know what will unruffle your feathers and we will point you in the right direction.
