Spend your special night in one of our beautiful rooms or suites. You will be greeted by a beautiful bouquet of roses (or other flowers at your request—perhaps something to reflect your wedding flowers?) Relax in an old-fashioned clawfoot tub or double jetted spa tub (depending on which room you choose)…..bubble bath will be provided, of course! Then relax with a bottle of Champagne and a either chocolate covered strawberries or a plate of cheese and crackers with fruit, while you watch a romantic movie on one of our many available movie channels. The next morning, awake to the aromas of fresh coffee and the gourmet breakfast being prepared for you by your innkeepers. After breakfast, a special surprise for you: a souvenir keepsake of your visit to the Wayside Inn, two handcrafted Wayside Inn Coffee Mugs are yours to keep!

We are fortunate to have an Inn that is so close to one of the best music venues in the United States. In fact, it was named one of the top three venues in the country, which puts it in league with the Hollywood Bowl! Although built as the summer home for the Washington, DC’s National Symphony, it has built its reputation on Rock and Roll…oh yeah, country music too! That venue: The Merriweather Post Pavilion! This beautiful Outdoor Pavilion rocks all summer long, and it’s only about 5 minutes from the Inn. Whether you want to experience Katy Perry (June 15) live, rock out to Steely Dan (August 2), do the two-step with Sugarland (May 22), or get your jazz groove on with the Columbia Jazz Fest (June 3/4/5), we can get you there. We will procure the tickets you want whether you wish an up close look at your favorite star under the pavilion or to dance the night away on the lawn! We will even get you a cab ride to and from the event so you do not have to worry about driving after you have spent an evening “enjoying” yourselves.
