Welcome to the Ship Watch Inn bed & breakfast in the historic, waterside town of Chesapeake City, Maryland. The inn was originally built as a private residence in the 1920's, and was completely renovated in 1996. Since then, it has operated as a bed & breakfast that stands apart from others in South Chesapeake City. Completely furnished with antiques dating back to the 1800's, the inn features the warmth and charm of a southern bed & breakfast with the service and amenities of a modern day hotel.
The Ship Watch Inn is the only bed & breakfast in South Chesapeake City that is located on the water's edge along the Chesapeake and Delaware Canal.
It is also the only bed & breakfast in Chesapeake City that:- Has all rooms facing waterfront with access to an outdoor deck from each room
- Has an outdoor hot tub on the waterside
- Does not require a two-night minimum stay
- Is affiliated with a local restaurant, The Chesapeake Inn Restaurant and Marina, offering special VIP perks to guests

While you're in town, enjoy all that Chesapeake City has to offer by visiting our local restaurants, shops, parks and more...
